When to take polyfill out/fan?

Hi all, I just birthed a few cakes and into my tub. I have 3 medium-size holes on both the front and back of the tubs and 2 larger holes at the top on the left and right sides. All are filled with polyfill.
Just wondering, am I ever supposed to take the poly out, or do I just leave it in there and fan once or twice a day? I've heard some people take polyfill out of one hole to encourage pinning - should I do this?
Also, should I be leaving the lid cracked at all for better circulation? Thanks for answering my noob questions

Pretty sure you're not suppose to use polyfill at all with a SGFC.

Really? That's not what I have seen in many other grow logs. Regardless, it's what I have to work with right now, so I need to make do with it. Just looking for some helpful advice.
The holes are larger than regular holes, so would opening them up dry out the FC too much? The medium holes on the front and back are about 1"x1" and the side holes at the top are about 2"x2"

Also, my humidity is only at 80%. What can I do to get it above 90? Just mist the sides more? I'm wondering if I didn't moisten the Perlite enough.

Those are usually monotubs/green house tubs for bulk grows. I think those hole sizes are fine but you'll some small ones near the bottom for co2 to escape and maybe just leave the polyfill in but very loosely.

Ok, thanks. I only did it that way because I don't have a drill. I might have to ask my neighbor. By the way, why is polyfill only used for bulk? Just wondering what the difference is for cakes/bulk that it would not be used for cakes.

I'm not too sure.. I think it's do with gas exchange when spawning/colonizing and keeping contams out.

OK. I took out some of the polyfill, but left some in to help with the humidity. Does it matter what combination of top and bottom holes I take out?

You can fruit cakes in a monotub. Just mist once or twice a day as needed, you want tiny water droplets all over the surface of the cakes. No needed to remove the polyfill or fan at all. The FAE requirements for 3 PF cakes are almost non-existant. As long as some water is evaporating off the surface of the cakes, you're good.

I spawned some popcorn casings and had double-overlay cause I didn't put enough hydrogen peroxide in my automated aquarium mister. I only got one mushroom so I cut off the head part where the seeds fall from and put it in a jar of LC and sprayed it all over a tin of PF cakes I made with gravel, cardboard, and bisquick in my microwave. I think it will be good cause B+ is so potent. Triggered yet? Only a square would say "a cube is a cube."
No, this does not look right...

A SGFC is better suited for a few cakes than a monotub IMO.
In a mono tub the substrate is big enough to provide humidity for the tub.
You don't take out the poly for a monotub. The tub stays taped up u ntill its ready to be fruited then the poly goes in.
The bottom holes are stuffed very tight, the top very loose. You will definitely need to mist if your cakes are in a monotub. But honestly 3 cakes I dont think is enough substrate to provide a lot of humidity.
In a shotgun terrarium you have 5 inches of dampened perlite to help
