What's Up With These Tiny Little Mushrooms?

I've been waiting for this brick in one of my auto-fanning terrarium's to start fruiting, but so far it has only produced these tiny little dwarf mushrooms:

Does anybody know what conditions could induce this? These are clones that I know are good from other batches, so it's not genetics. All the relevant variables I can think of:
- Cakes were cased late and casing never really colonized.
- The fan comes on at a low speed for 10 minutes every 2 hours.
- Temp stays about 78 degrees +/- 2 degrees.
- Humidity is maintained with the wet perlite which worked fine for ones I have to fan manually.
What could be the reason for these? Should I even bother with casings? It seems like I have mixed success, and from what I understand some people don't bother. My most recent two trays the casing never colonized and now they're not wanting to fruit. I was planning on doing my next few trays without. This one so far has just produced this after almost 2 weeks in the FC.

I would say your fan setup is the problem. Plus the tub the sub is in is fucking huge! It looks like it's a foot deep lol! If you're going to use perlite then either A. Build a SGFC because it works or if you say fuck perlite it sucks, then make a monotub.

Ya the tubs are pretty deep but I thought I needed to have the substrate in something with non-clear sides and the black ones are what they had on the myco supply company I used. I would rather have them wide than deep though, you're right.
I am probably going to just do them as mono's based on what I'm learning from another thread. From what I am gathering the clear sides aren't as big of a deal as I thought so I can just spawn directly to these tubs which I have 6 of

Just line the clear tubs with plastic going up the sides about 4". I use a black trash bag. It helps prevent side pins and makes it easy to take the sub out to harvest.

I know the substrate might be too deep but anyone think it might be worth it to try a dub tub?

I don't think those tubs would be good for dub tubs. Those look like what we put the french fries in at work

The trays are from a pretty well known and reputable mycology supplier...I think we are missing some context here. This is not my first grow with this particular setup. The fan is the only thing that's new here. After spending the day researching and conversing with others, the fan is the most likely culprit.
I'm doing away with the fan, and I'm going to switch to monotubs and probably convert all the black trays I bought to "dub tubs" so they don't go to waste. The trays inside the terrariums have been working decent for most of a year now. Had some big flushes and my first bulk sub grow yielded about 2lbs dry. I was opening the terrariums to fan every day like I've been doing since I first started with PF cakes a few years ago. It is only this one where I added the fan that I have had problems, and I only added the fan because I had some misconceptions about FAE.

Your first bulk sub yielded 32oz dried?

I've gotten fruits like that from bacterial spawn.
--------------------
I spawned some popcorn casings and had double-overlay cause I didn't put enough hydrogen peroxide in my automated aquarium mister. I only got one mushroom so I cut off the head part where the seeds fall from and put it in a jar of LC and sprayed it all over a tin of PF cakes I made with gravel, cardboard, and bisquick in my microwave. I think it will be good cause B+ is so potent. Triggered yet? Only a square would say "a cube is a cube."
No, this does not look right...

2 lbs huh? Seems a bit much. I get maybe a half pound per tub on a good day.
-------------------- Considering spores can survive the vacuum of space, I would assume it's safe to say that mushrooms are on every planet waiting for the right conditions to present themselves. What it all boils down to, is aliens are on shrooms.

I don't know why you would assume I'm claiming one single little tray yielded 32oz dry and not realize I was probably running more than the one tray especially when I mentioned already I have 6 of those clear plastic tubs. If I'm doing trays inside of those tubs, then why would I not have the trays to match? I had 6 trays going at once, and two monotubs. When that closet is full it can hold 10 tubs but I usually keep the bottom shelf open for a space heater to keep that entire room around 78-79 degrees or so. That's including 16-24 half pint jars that I ran with whole brown rice to get my clones from.
If anything I came way, way under what a more experienced grower would have yielded and I even lost two entire trays in the beginning because I let them get too hot. As of right now I'm doing away with the trays and just doing monos in the clear tubs which kind of sucks because I just bought 6 more trays so I could have a constant rotation. But on the other hand after reading up on it on here and chatting with kind people such as yourself I feel like doing monos will give me bigger more consistent yields with less maintenance.
