Do you know WHY they chlorinate water? Well they started because of typhoid. You know another reason? Because it kills E. Coli.

i think chipotle might be shitty in some states. like in & out burger here in texas is weak but it's pretty good in california. all the chipotles i've been to here have been really good. there's better tex-mex for sure, but i really don't have any complaints about the food.

Yeah, for sure. Unintended consequences, eh?
http://water.epa.gov/drink/contaminants/basicinformation/disinfectants.cfm
I sapose i'd rather see them use chlorine dioxide since it actually oxidizes rather than chlorinates and is a weak oxidizer at that which leaves the body and healthy aerobic bacteria reletively unaffected, from what i understand..
Of course they could wash out the leftovera from the reaction before they send it out but then you gotta deal with contamination along the way and whatnot.. which is why i'm for smaller nearly personal water systems but you cant control entire populations like that..
Anyway, chipotle kicks ass! Tho my only complaint (aside from people getting sick in their stores for whatever reason) is at the one closest to me the service has been lacking and the line is always to the door. Hire them mexicans back, i say.. everyones all la-de-da in there. That's not food induatry service! Come on, man!

Lol Malcolm with that damn avatar. Cracks me up. The riff raff one was my fav hahah
And also, chipotle consistnely delivers. They offer high quality ingerdients. Idk about all the science and labels, but whatever I get there is garunteed to taste amazing. It used to tear my stomach up, but I stopped having sour cream and cheese and the shits resumed normal consistency

Sorry, it does. I'm spoiled by "real Mexican fast food" restaurants. They are all over where I live. Chipotle compared to one of those is extremely bland and boring. I was excited as hell when Chipotle first opened up here not too long ago because I'd seen people always rave about the shit. To say I was disappointed when I finally got to try it is an understatement.

That's fair. We don't have any good alternatives around here so chipotle is like the holy Grail of fast caisual Mexican food

Hopefully you're near a Steak 'n Shake, personally I like their (smashed) burgers a little better than In & Out.
Chipotle just tastes like underseasoned Mexican food to me. I miss the good cheap fast Mexican food I grew accustomed to when in the S.W. (like Filiberto's), but Chipotle doesn't make a good replacement at all for me. I like Qdoba better but marginally. I'd rather get my fix from a local truck here or a restaurant less frequently.

steak 'n shake isn't that great here. it's awesome in missouri though!
whataburger is the joint for burgers in texas if you're wanting a fast food burger. i actually think whataburger makes a better burger than most hipster places. there's really only one place in dfw that i think makes a better burger really.

That's a shame; I like all of the Steak 'n Shakes I've been to around here (IL/MO) and the Southeast and as big as it is I figured there wouldn't be too much variation. I really liked Whataburger too though when they were around. My favorite fast food burger chain ever might be NM's very similar (as in a rip-off that opened a few years after Whataburger ) Blake's Lotaburger if you're ever near one. I know there's at least one in El Paso now and I bet they continue expanding.

The steak n shakes here in atlanta are pretty bomb. It's awesome when you're drunk as fuck and want something cheap at 2 am

Chipotle is pretty good, I guess. Had a barbacoa burrito on Halloween. The pinto beans are really good and the salsa is nice. Just a bit expensive. There are so many good Mexican burritos in socal that chipotle kinda eats rocks compared to the authentic cabeza and adobada etc. Cool concept though...definitely fill you up

chipolte used to be good in like 2005-2006ish, and then their prices went up, portions went down, and the people started sucking harder and harder.
I make way better burritos.
I didn't know chipotle was even open in 05-06, guess I was just another bandwagoner who tried it once it was hip.
Then again, I was a lazy piece of shit stoner in 05 who ate taco tue at del taco

i have the weakest stomach and I can eat chipotle every day.
I support chipotle for the changes they've made. this out break may not even be their fault, it could be their supplier.
I agree, aside from south park I've never heard actual bloody diarrhea from anyone from eating their. I've eaten there many times and I have stomach issues, never had a problem . I personally like baja fresh better but w/e

Chipotle is probably the most boring "Mexican" menu I've ever seen. Organic or no, there can be problems with foods. And yes, organic producers to have to be more careful because organic nutrient sources are more likely to create these kinds of problems.
