Jnco jeans are making a comeback
Pre-order now http://www.jnco.com/
What a time to be alive!
Not much of a point here, just made me smile with nostalgia reading they're trying for a comeback. Viva la 90s!

I was a raver in the 90s, and so I wore jncos.
Last year I was at a friend's house in the area in which I grew up, and we ran out to get some beer. I bumped into a dude who was huge into the rave scene way back when, and to my astonishment, it was like he'd never left. Jncos, Adidas sneaks, big polo shirt. All he needed was a kangol visor. Oh, and he was tweaked the fuck out on meth. It was kinda sad.

I wish drug prices were the same as back then. Sheets of good acid were 100-120$. I remember the first time someone tried to sell me a sheet for 180$ (in 2000), I thought it was a joke.
I actually do go through these phases where I revisit the music from back then; a lot of it is good, or at least very nostalgic. I dress very plainly these days, and while jncos, kik wear, and ufos were fun (and even practical) back then, I don't think I'll be revisiting the look.

They are all I used to wear . Jncos and some band shirt was pretty much the entirety of my wardrobe. One pair of black slacks and a button up dress shirt for court dates. Most of them were of a more "normal" size, I fell in love with jncos because I hate tight, restricting clothes. They felt so good to wear.
I did have one ridiculous pair though..
Like those. Was the Rhino ones.Quote:

Hell no I'm keeping 'em. 50 years from now they're going to be worth something, like those ridiculously expensive Levis that are expensively simply because they're old.

I'm so happy I grew up when I did. Cheap drugs, Internet in its infancy, etc... I get kinda sad thinking back to those days, especially when a certain song or whatever gets played. I mean, I like my life now and all that, but those times were magical! Probably like that for everyone, but I'm just happy I lived thru that shit.

They should lower their prices, I am sure they're made well enough but that style is timelessly in poor taste and in no way functional. That being said I wouldn't care if people started wearing them again, but I don't see to many people being in to them again.

In the metal slug, eddy currents form due to the magnetic field the copper wire pipe is causing while the copper wire pipe has high frequency AC flowing through it. Sorry you had to attend a funeral.
Regarding jeans and tshirt, that's literally all I wear because of my work, I would get anything decent messed up quick.
Of course if I want to look extra spiffy, I suppose I could, I have decent fashion sense I guess.

No, I didn't.
Jncos are just one of those things that remind me of a very special time in my memory. We didn't go to raves, but we sort of did our own thing with parties and shit with LSD and MDMA. Shit was fire as fuck, too. I don't really talk to those folks anymore, so when I think of things like Jncos and hacky sack and mail trucks (long story), it immediately punches me in the face with nostalgia.
But yeah, I've grown up. Not sure when it happened, but fuck me if it didn't.
I guess that may be why I loved Burning Man as much as I did. Just reminded me a lot of the old times and I was fully immersed in it for a week.

For real, though.. I may actually get a hoodie for the lulz. I don't think I can swing some Jnco jeans by myself.
If I were to do that, I'd pull for men's skirts as well. Really ain't much better than a skirt, I tell you what.

Yeah dude, JNCOs are all tangled up in my memory along with e & acid, trance & hardcore, and all the friends that came and went in that time period. Good shit, but I'm pretty happy where I am now. The memories are lovely though. Memories ensconced in baggy denim.
I wonder what weird shit our kids will wear.

I had a swatch on each wrist and one on my ankle.

I have a bone to pick with that list.
baja hoodies are still badass.
I can't believe jnco's are coming back though
I find it even more staggering that I used to skate in those things. like,
what was the point of even buying skate shoes? the only thing touching the grip were those fucking pants

A long time ago, like 10 years, they made this real humorless spastic dude called "Leary Fan" into a moderator. To put it into perspective, he was such a low grade mod that until Legend, his was the shortest tenure of any staffer. Anyway, once he & I got into a ridiculous argument over god-knows-what and it culminated with me offering to give him a blow job in the trance tent at a rave in exchange for some pills. He could've just said "no thanks", but he instead banned me for like 6 months. I think I served a few days, got off for good behavior. Idk if that guy still posts or not.
Those were heady times.

What a terrible mod. The whole point of being a mod is to procure blow jobs from users who want to have their bans lifted.
