I was just talking to a girlfriend of mine about this a couple of days ago.... If only I had fruition in the 90's to save the 50 pairs of jnco jeans I acquired over the years, I would be making a KILLING on ebay right now.

Hello 1994! Shit, I think I still have a couple Fuct t-shirts buried somewhere.

You guys don't understand. It's happening. The tumblers are turning and soon the lock will click open. It's just a matter of one question.. Are you in?

I was in 20 years ago. I think I'll sit this round out.
For the sake of clarification: it is koods who was the custie, going to parties in his Jordaches. Esprit and Body Glove shirts.

I have a hard time picturing you in Jncos, shLong. But it's probably not just you; it may be tricky to imagine anyone I met as an adult wearing them. Did you also wear UFOs? Those were the most practical rave pants ever.

No, I didn't.
Jncos are just one of those things that remind me of a very special time in my memory. We didn't go to raves, but we sort of did our own thing with parties and shit with LSD and MDMA. Shit was fire as fuck, too. I don't really talk to those folks anymore, so when I think of things like Jncos and hacky sack and mail trucks (long story), it immediately punches me in the face with nostalgia.
But yeah, I've grown up. Not sure when it happened, but fuck me if it didn't.
I guess that may be why I loved Burning Man as much as I did. Just reminded me a lot of the old times and I was fully immersed in it for a week.

For real, though.. I may actually get a hoodie for the lulz. I don't think I can swing some Jnco jeans by myself.
If I were to do that, I'd pull for men's skirts as well. Really ain't much better than a skirt, I tell you what.

Yeah dude, JNCOs are all tangled up in my memory along with e & acid, trance & hardcore, and all the friends that came and went in that time period. Good shit, but I'm pretty happy where I am now. The memories are lovely though. Memories ensconced in baggy denim.
I wonder what weird shit our kids will wear.

Whatever it is, I'll likely hate it
I just hope she has as good of a time as I did (with a lot less of the risk I took)

You're wrong.
True story. I can't say I'll buy any, or ever wear them again, but it's still at least cool.
