Im wondering if its possible. Ive had the abnormal fear that my hearts beating too fast and im going to have a heart attack, it turns into a panic attack basically.
Ive been told by doctors this isnt possible but given the right conditions why cant it be?
Most of this time this illogical fear comes on under the influence, but occasionally sober.

i am no doctor by any means so i can not say weather it is possible or not. i had a couple anxiety/panic attacks a while back. they happened all of a sudden. i do not know what a heart attack feels like but what i experienced might have been pretty close. i have had good luck with klonopin for anxiety if that helps you any.

Ive never checked my BP during an attack but my heart flutters in a way that just seems unhealthy.
Then sometimes it quite literally is beating out of my chest and i can feel it thru my entire body.
Pretty ridiculous.

When I was having bad anxiety attacks my hr would jump up to between 120-135 bpm! Once at the hospital I was going in for serious surgery and I was having a panick attack in the pre op room and my hr shout up to almost 200bpm!!! Needless to say I was medicated immediately

Well its possible that you'd have a heart attack without any anxiety. Stress definitely plays a role, but its more of a cumulative thing unless you have a heart condition already.
Eat healthy, exercise, and don't smoke cigs or take stimulants and you'll be doing everything you can do pretty much

Did you hear the one about the guy who goes to the doctor and says,"Hey Doc, whenever I eat spinach I get this burning pain in the middle of my body. What should I do?" Do you remember what the doc told him?

Not too sure about heart attacks but I know a 37y/o who just had 2 strokes. He is completely healthy but has a very high stress job.

Get yourself some beta blockers and you won't feel the adrenaline anymore.
Maybe if you were 60 and had a panic attack it'd affect you but when you're young you're heart still has some strong muscle behind it.

This. Unless you're born with a heart condition, plaque rupture is your biggest threat. Stress can play a role in plaque formation and rupture but it's usually not sufficient in and of itself. So whether or not an anxiety attack precipitates a heart attack would be dependent on a bunch of things including your genetics, diet, history of drug use (pharmaceuticals included), history of infection, age, etc. You don't just get a heart attack from your heart beating hard though unless you have a substantial amount of blockage or an event that leads to blockage in the arteries such as a blood clot from plaque rupture.
That said... plaque formation starts in childhood in our society
