ID'ing some local Upper Valley Connecticut River Basin friends.

Habitat:
Growing in a lush wet area near marsh on the sides of dead logs near sphagnum and at base of trees

Gills:
White/offwhite attached

Stem:
White med length stem seems to turn a darkish brown black color

Cap:
smooth convex brownish button with lighter yellow center. 

Spore print color:
Purple Brown

Bruising:
mild bruising to brownish black

Other information:
grows in clusters.

Hypholoma sp.

Gills look kinda greenish in a pic or two, so probably Hypholoma fasciculare.

There are pan subs all over CT. I used to harvest them from a girlfriends horse poo pile and pasture about 15 years ago. I'm pretty sure people call them cincts now. Unsure as to why.

Yea, i've heard this as well.  I'm beginning my own cultivation of some azurescens, cyanescens and cubensis to see how each one fairs.  Time shall tell the full tale.
