Is my substrate and spawn mixed well? Is it enough?

I'm wondering how will the humidity be created? I ordered my substrate bags from shroom supply, They're 1lb each and right now I mixed 1lb of spawn and 1lb of sub I have 1lb extra of spawn and sub and I'm waiting to find out on my other post if its contaminated. I know the substrate creates the humidity but is it enough? I'm using a 29qt tub with the 6hole config

1 lb and 1 lb is probably around 2 qts. i personally would try to add more material in there.

I would break those kernels up more to increase the inoculation points within the sub, which will lead to faster growth.
If you want to keep the polyfill in during colonization, make sure it's stuffed tight!!

I'm trying to get some growth, I don't have the materials. Is it enough to create humidity? I Just have 1lb of spawn and substrate but I don't know if the spawn is contaminated it has multiple single rye grains bluish and some are in groups dark blue its hard to notice unless you look at the spawn very well.

This is the third time the sp awn will be colonizing. I'm worried. Should I add more substrate?

yes, u can add more substrate, lowest i have gone in a 27 qt was 4 qts/ lbs of material though, so not sure on 3 qts/lbs maybe someone will chime in.
what do u mean this is the 3rd time ur spawn will be colonizing?

I added the other bag of substrate and spreaded it very evenly, I also duct taped the holes and took out the polyfil. Before I colonized the rye in a bag, after it was colonized I broke it down and spreaded it out inside a small shoebox size plastic bin. I didn't know you needed substrate to get good yields, I thought you could get good yields without any casing or sub. I let it colonize again inside the bin while I waited for my substrate, and now I took it out of the bin and spreaded it inside a bigger tote with substrate and its colonizing again.

So I'm assuming not mentioning mushroom species makes it ok to mention a sponsor. BTW I've used the same substrate on my first grow. It worked great and helped the odds in my favor due to my inexperience. Now I use local h/poo but again great for starters.

Its not just that your surface is level/flat but the nutes are evenly distributed also.
How deep is it?
