Get a Jeep Wrangler. Put big tires on it and go off-roading. Way more fun than speeding thru town and getting tickets.

Its not bad. Its a v6 as well. We all tell him he fucked up getting a basic v6 camaro.
It would be hard to justify a V8 when I do 95% city driving and could rarely wring it out. Would be unlikely to get it out of third gear. The V6 at 325 HP has plenty of power.
325 isn't enough trust me, its better than a 4 banger but not by much. the broom power just doesn't compare, and even if you don't get out of third, thats not the point, the point is from 0 to 30 you are going to have your balls in the trunk

My current V6: 0-60 in 7.2 seconds; Camaro V6: 0-60 in 5.3 seconds. That's a significant step up.
But then I might as well go for a real mid-life crisis car: 2016 Ford Mustang GT350 with flat plane crank. 569HP > 455HP and has an 8000 RPM redline and screams like a Banshee!
Zoom-zoom.

If they ever put an engine in it. I like the idea of a smaller, lighter car, but it has no more power than my 15 yo car.

just buy an old car, then put a $20k engine in it, you'll have like 800 hp or something silly
you'll blow your tranny every week but it'll be worth it

So use the extra money you'd still have left over that you would've spent on the camaro anyways to upgrade the engine. They are one of the funnest cars on the market to drive. Plus, upgrading the performance just enough to really get some power out of it is cheap and easy.

Great idea! Reminds me of when I was a kid and used to finger bang the prom queen in the back seat of my camaro.

I am a huge Camaro fanboy.. My number 1 dream car is a very late 60's model SS, black with red stripes. Still, I don't like all the new generation Camaros much. I think the last one I actually liked was 3rd gen. I've driven both the fourth and fifth and they are decent enough, but I don't like them. They're not bad cars per se, I just don't find them as appealing.
The 4th gen especially I find to be hideous. I've seen what they can do though, their performance is pretty good IMO. My father decided to get in a street race with a new Mustang once. He didn't turn off the traction control or whatever it was and cost him a lot of jerking and acceleration loss until he slammed the button. Happened in just a second or two, but that Mustang got a huge head start because of it. My father still ended up winning, by a land slide at that.
I just cannot get over the look. Anyways, back on topic, I really want a Challenger, it is the "new car" I want the most and I'm not even talking Hellcat. I love everything about that car.

I'd like challengers if they weren't made by dodge.

Bologna, try to jump anything made these days and it will fall apart. Now the new camaro has suspension links made out of plastic; just like a real R/C car! The SS sedan and used G35/37 coupes are good alternatives.
