Not bad for a grow kit, congratulations.

are they in a dark plastic container?
im trying to get an idea of what to expect yield wise if i did rye with just a casing layer and little light.

You will get an OK yield by just casing rye grains. I did it once. You will get a much better yield if you spawn to a bulk substrate (coco coir, hpoo) though.

There is a bit of blue on the top though and I'm worried incase it's mould but to me it seems like bruising, need a second opinion if anyone can help

Their pinning from the sides but I'm not getting any ontop at the moment, mycelium build up on the sides is caked and is slowly wrapping over the top but very slowly

the picture is kinda bad but it does look like a contam from here if you could get a better pic it would be much easier to tell. and the ub is pinning from the side because that's where the conditions were right for pinning which is why most of us use liners in tubs so that doesn't happen. did you take a print? if not print one of those side pins when the time is ready so you can start growing for REAL
