* Habitat What kind of trees were nearby? What was it growing from?
Coastal dune grasses. They're growing downhill in huge numbers.
* Location Where in the world was it? Oregon * Gills What do they look like? Always try to take photos that show the gills of both young and mature mushrooms.
See pics as below. * Stem Carefully dig it out of the ground so you can get a picture of the whole thing.
All are hollow and came with stem butts.
* Spore print color (if you have time)
No print I'm still here hunting a new spot. * Scent of the mushroom.
Mushrooms.
* Color that the mushroom bruises when damaged.
None =/ * Anything else you might find important.
There's tons of these so if they're good and active let me know please. Multiple species are growing in the area and there's a horse trail.
Most were inside the bottom of dune grass clusters. I saw no others like it.
Thanks for any and all responses even if not active. They're doing coast guard maneuvers so all rangers and guards are occupied. If active I'd love to get them all.

I have dozens of more pics but my phone is dying and I have little to no service. Thank you.

Any help please?
They're printing now (not my first rodeo) but not producing anything. Heavy rain poured down the hills and created kind of a cascade of them.

Saw more of these today. They can be deceiving save for their shorter stems. Seem to love the dandelions. Very good indicator species; just get away from the wetter and mossy parts. I've noticed azzies will occasionally grow amongst them but their morphology stands more pronounced when they do. Just my observations of course. Only bumping for search engine and updated info.
