Am I reading these stats right? Rodgers only threw for 77 yards? That's pathetic, especially for him. Broncos defense is legit  :incredible:

That was a big game. On a lot of plays Denver had the primary receivers covered, and Rodgers had to keep looking until he was pressured into a bad throw. But even on easy throws like screen passes Rodgers was innacurate (I only saw the 2nd half).

Once Seattle shit the bed early on, I thought the only really important game was N.E. vs Packers in the Superbowl. I now doubt that. I still don't think Denver can win at Foxborough with next week having a big effect on the AFC championship game.

I still don't know what Manning will have left in his shoulder at the end of the season, but I now have a different opinion of who the 2 best teams are.

GB still struggles vs good defenses and may be in for another let down in the post season if they have to play on the road. Getting blown up badly by Denver isn't a good look for a team that was considered one of the best in the league. Great win for Denver and while GB is still very good they aren't great or a top 2 team in the NFL currently. Pats, Broncos, Bengals, and Panthers are all better at the moment. Denver was impressive and surprised me, I thought to much of GB it seems and in the end a great Defense is still to much for them.

Simmer down.  We're not even halfway there and that was a road game where the home team was very pumped.  I'm not a Packers fan but I am not somebody who puts too much stock in any one game, either.

We all expected more from GB (just look at our pick'em), but in the end it's just a regular season game.

GB can still beat DEN, especially in the playoffs when Peyton becomes a turnover machine as usual.

Am I the only one who is not sold on DEN?

Denver has a legit top tier defense now so i'm fine with them, just needed to see them play a prolific passer and they destroyed Rodgers. It is early in the season, but no matter how great GB has been during the regular season they have a recent history of losing to strong defensive teams in the post season. Frisco a couple of times when theiir defense and team was still strong, then the meltdown in Seattle last season, it's a post season pattern and they're free to Denver's defense in the regular season already so i'm not convinced they can win 2 or 3 playoffs games in a row vs playoff defenses and make it to the bowl. The season is still young though and they could flop well before the playoffs or could continue to do well and then inexplicably find a way to lose in the post season in typical Packers fashion.

Carolina has a good defense, but could very well collapse as well, season is young but with Green Bay blowhards sounding off every week this season it's amusing to trash talk them a bit after a crushing defeat by Peyton Manning

Great game coming up tonight. I am really getting into Carolina's play style of hard running power football. Have you heard Cam up at center before he snaps the ball, the way he yells sounds like a fucking warrior on a bloody battlefield.

That being said, I put my money on Indy to come within 7.

You are focusing only on the GB offense.  They also have a strong D.  It just didn't show up yesterday.

That D allowed Peyton Manning to look like he was 26 again and even horrid Russel posted up his only 2 game TD performance of the entire season against it. You are talking up an argument that I cannot agree with for these reasons.

No they dont. DT just got like 200 yards receiving and peyton had well over 300 yards passing
the whole team just got exposed (Blondie boy is the only fudge packer that even came to play), winning their division isn’t a lock. I doubt they fuck up enough, or the Vikes play well enough to beat them out, but it certainly isn’t a lock.

Someone is forgetting about a guy named Adrian Peterson (better RB  than Rodgers is a QB) and Bridgewater was an incredible draft pick. I’ll admit i thought he would suck, and boy was i wrong.

GB literally just went from favorite and frontrunner to having glaring weaknesses. No run game and a one dimensional offense (let rodgers dance around till he throws a td) will kill even the best of QBs. Its a team game it seems like no one here will admit that.

BTW, no one ever gave Shane Vereen the credit he deserved while he was on NE. Everyone acts like Brady is the only good player on NE and its bullshit. Vereen is an incredible back probably the best receiving RB in the game right now.  Woodhead and Edelman were both great players. The list goes on.

Fuck Foxborough, if the Pats can’t win in Denver in 2 weeks it wont even matter, and its only a matter of time till their next cheating plot gets exposed....

(probably when the play the Jets again)

I bet Vernon Davis is the happiest man in America today. Got off a sinking ship that is also on fire at the last possible second.
