Good fruiting environment but no pins yet

Hello,
I need some help identifying if my case have a problem and what is it.
3 jars colonized in 1 month, then crumbled completely to grains in a case between 2 PC vermiculite layer. I closed the case to allow the mycelium to recover, 2 weeks later, but nothing happened, still no mycelium showing on top or on the sides, grains still separated. So i decided to open the case to fresh air hoping the mycelium recover and expand and thats what happened.
Now as you can see in the pictures, mycelium (or maybe cobweb) is covering the top surface without any knots and pins. 10 days passed, no odor or susceptible colors. Im fanning the chamber 4 to 6 times per day, misting 3 or 4 times, temperature 20 - 22 C.
Im confused if there is a contamination, or is the mycelium going to overlay, or its a matter of time and patience, etc.. Your advice is appreciated.

Did you crumble BRF jars? If so you wanted to mix it all up. Myc isn't supposed to colonize verm as it has very little to no nutrition and mainly used as a filler or casing layer.

I don't use brown rice flour, its a whole grain spawn.
Is there some contaminants that don't have any odor and have white or no color? Other than cobweb.
LocN9ne, i didn't get your question.

My bad, I read that as you crumbled brf cakes into a tray then added grain...way off, my fault... looks like myc to me...you already put it in fruiting conditions so keep it glistening with water and see what happens.

Yeah the verm will probably act as a casing and fruit straight from the grains.

This. Give it some time, it looks alright. FYI spawning directly to verm is called the rez effect and is how people did bulk back in the day. I havr done it myself with grain a few times and it works well. If verm wasn't so expensive it would be a fine alternative.

Substrate, it's a substrate......
Please do not refer to spawning a bulk substrate as a casing. Coir/verm is bulk substrate material.
They used to refer to a bulk substrate as a casing, but now it just adds confusion. Its called a spawning to a bulk substrate, not casing.
A casing layer is a non nutritious top layer usually applied to a fully colonized bulk substrate for moisture retention and pinning. When you do this it is called casing, see where it can get confusing?

You guys seriously need to stop referring to your substrate trays as 'casings'. That is an incorrect term unless all you have is a casing layer and no manure, grains, or anything. Nobody grows mushrooms on 'casings', period.
The casing layer is only the top layer on a colonized bulk substrate, nothing else. 'Casing' sure as hell isn't a name for a mushroom growing project. RR

@PF, I think he's refering to the container as a case, not the substrate.
Layered spawning into straight vermiculite, especially if your conditions aren't that good and your spawn isn't totally clean might just be really slow. I don't know. Good luck. Glad it's fruiting.
--------------------
I spawned some popcorn casings and had double-overlay cause I didn't put enough hydrogen peroxide in my automated aquarium mister. I only got one mushroom so I cut off the head part where the seeds fall from and put it in a jar of LC and sprayed it all over a tin of PF cakes I made with gravel, cardboard, and bisquick in my microwave. I think it will be good cause B+ is so potent. Triggered yet? Only a square would say "a cube is a cube."
No, this does not look right...
