It's called super spawning. Won't work indoors with cubes. Will contaminate. Will work outdoors. Also, FOTTSE, because there's a lot of info out on it.

By then, your culture will probably be too weak to continue expanding more(and most likely get contaminated due to having weak myc)... its doable though, why won't you experiment on your own and post results.

Hmmm... I keep reading that the mycelium will weaken after time. What do you think about mixing in some "sterilized" WBS into the substrate for nutrition, in hopes of keeping the mycelium going strong?
Am definitely gonna try it out after my monotub is "maxed out", I would also have to do my research on here.

Ime, monotubs reaching 100% colonisation are just too risky to be expanded more. You can fruit it or run the risk of contamination thru recolonising... you will learn this the hard way once you run your own tests...
By mixing in some sterilised grains, you'll fuck up your new tubs EVEN MORE since your source for spawning(your donor tub) is already 'filthy' at that point... go ahead try it and post results.
If you're looking for massive yields, look up LC and LI...

a that point ya may as well have just started with more spawn and spawned to more bulk rather then fuckign around after it has colonized, super spawning sucks and doesn't pay off you get much better leap off and better food from using grain spawn

It doesn't matter what i think of you...all that matters is clean spawn I'm tired do me a favor
