Need some advice

I am debating on getting back into growing. I never got really good at it but i still have equipment and such. Iv done my share of cake jar grows. Have done a handful of bulk grows with not much success. It is what it is.
If i were to start growing again, i would be looking at doing wood chip grows, i hear that they are alot less susceptible to contamination.
Yet i don't read about too many people doing these grows...is it because they don't fruit nearly as much? If not then why is it?
If i were to go through with this grow what would be a good wood loving strain of an active mushroom? Iv heard Panaelous are wood loving...
Really just some incite and good advice on how to go about this would be appreciated.

Psilocybe cyanescens
I thought Psilocybe's preferred grain grows over?

These are the "wavy cap" strain. They grow best off wood chips!

So i am able to buy P. CYANOFRISCOSA. Haven't found a good source that can ship to me any Psilocybe cyanescens. I looked into it and iv read that Psilocybe cyanescens are more picky than other strains. More sensitive to fresh air levels and heat n such. But the only source iv found of P. CYANOFRISCOSA so far claims they are easy to grow wood-lover. Any knowledge on the subject guys?

I think I saw some information that claimed cyanofriscosa was genetically the same species as cyanescens, but didn't manifest the wavy cap phenotype. IDK. They should be similar enough. Azures are another one to look at.
I really can't imagine growing these species would be easier than growing cubensis, especially since any spore material you get will be from wild/outdoor prints, should be started on agar, and will require spawning to grain, then to wood, then to outdoor beds in most cases.
If you can get your grain spawn right, then throwing that grain spawn into 10qts of coir and sticking it in a tote with some holes in it (cubes) should be easier than doing it to woodchips in outdoor beds (cyan/azure/etc...)
Gymnopilus you can actually do indoors, but I doubt they're easier than cubes.
Pans are dung lovers.

I spawned some popcorn casings and had double-overlay cause I didn't put enough hydrogen peroxide in my automated aquarium mister. I only got one mushroom so I cut off the head part where the seeds fall from and put it in a jar of LC and sprayed it all over a tin of PF cakes I made with gravel, cardboard, and bisquick in my microwave. I think it will be good cause B+ is so potent. Triggered yet? Only a square would say "a cube is a cube."
No, this does not look right...

Good to know. I thought gyms did better on like bricks in greenhouses than monotubs, or something in JD's logs lead me to think that.
Cyanofriscosa is Allenii hmm, how it the potency on that species, if you know?

Does gymnopilus have the same grow perameters as Psilocybe cyanescens, regarding needing colder temperatures to fruit? Since it is doable indoors im guessing its alot less temperate. I have no knowledge on this species, so anything and everything is helpful.
