If you buy a love sac you gotta get a foot rest too. It is uncomfortable without one. I used to have the 4'x5' one

My great uncle's antique oaken bed that he left to me when he died is my nest. It's like a wooden fortress with a soft centre. I have to remind myself to lock the doors when I go to sleep, that's how safe it makes me feel!
Of course, on a mushroom trip the wood was melting all over the place and it became very claustrophobic, so it didn't work. But I pushed two chairs together, like a majestic Gorilla pulling branches together to make a soft and safe place to sleep.

Ermagerd! I love my bed. Clothing, sheets, blankets and pillows etc are three things I don't mind telling the wife "go nuts".
A few thousand dollars or so later I'm laying on a king sized sleep number i8 bed with Egyptian thread counts through the roof, hot/cold temp dispersal, it raises at the foot and the head of the bed. It's basically an insulated air mattress. Yesterday I fell asleep on the couch and needed a flat surface hard as a rock. Right now my back is killing me so I'm on a 20% which pushes my pelvis up and takes pressure off my sciatica.
I spent last Thursday in my nest for hours. Was tripping too hard and had to dip away from my sitter. I'm glad I didn't break the motor when I was playing with it. Chances are I probably just did it twice and the time warping thought loops got the best of me. Just laying there sweating fighting inner demons and evaluating self worth.
It's amazing, I couldn't live without it, it's our sixth bed in 5 years. It's the first bed I've never said "oh I'd better sleep on the chair.." and we can both sleep in the same bed together through the whole night.
I can raise myself up to a sitting position, smoke a bowl and have it lay me back down while I kick my feet up. It's so fun to trip in and is like sleeping on air.
Next to me is a cabinet of 16 different strains of weed in 1/4 pint jars. Smells like heaven. My trip toys and music and backup chargers and shit all fit in this new antique nightstand we picked up.
It's the first time since I was 18 that it feels like "my room" again.

After not going to bed all last winter- I have some form of nerve damage in my feet that made putting them between cold sheets extremely uncomfortable- I treated myself to an electric under blanket. Not had to use it much yet as it's been unseasonably warm, but, when I have needed to, I turn in on ~20 minutes before going to bed and it's just, abso-fuckin-lutely blissful.

My wife's warm soft body is my nest.
And our bed. My happiest times are when I am lying in bed with my wife in my arms and my cat purring on our chest.
