#22461199 - 11/01/15 09:28 AM (8 years, 2 months ago) |
|
|
I Inoculated these jars back in early September and now im finally getting the the reward for my patience! Considering almost 100% of my knowledge on cultivating mushrooms came from this website i feel i need to share what you guys have helped me accomplish in my first grow!
----------------GT Jar #1 first fruit---------------

------------GT #1 2nd flush and #2 1st flush --------------------------

---------- starting 1st flush of PESA and 2nd flush of GT #2----

---------------More large clusters on PESA cakes today!---------

-----------------Cluster Harvest----------

(ALL GT cakes have been rolled in verm after dunking . All PESA cakes have only been dunked)
thanks for everyones help!

To Keep them hydrated, moist and kinda help in raising humidity. The pf tek method has been tested many many times so one should follow it to the T.

The PESA cluster appears to be getting an insane amount more dense

and the GT pins are getting crazy fat!

Do you know how to do agar? If so you literally just drop a pin onto an agar plate.

Looking good! I've got my first GT's inoculated about two weeks ago, how long did it take yours from inoculation until they were ready for the dunk and roll?

Those are going to be thirsty and potentially large if you supply some additional water. I suggest you sit the cake in a saucer of water. Pour any excess water off and replace with fresh every day.

I've never heard of that before . I'll try it now! Also should I flip the cake to keep the cluster from growing into the ground ?

Then make sure you put 1/4" holes 2 inches apart in a grid pattern on all 6 sides. That's the standard design and it works for a lot of people, myself included!

im thinking about getting a raspberry pi and getting it to send temperature/humidity and CO2 info from the chamber so i can accurately control the inside of the chamber .
that and getting better methods of controlling the temperature ive tried heating pads and aquarium heaters and i wasn't too much of a fan of either one.

The amazonian really do come out picture perfect! My noob opinion is that PESA is a very very nice strain!
I've preferred the amazonian growing experience much more than the Golden teachers . but i could be saying the opposite if i had different GT genetics!

I've never tried amazonians or PESA, but looks like you got some nice clones to take there. I recently just got into pan cyans and I think I'll stick with that for a while!

It definitely does, and the end result is always consistently good, with MS it's way too variable. I've grown more bunk/weak mushies than strong ones I'd rather have super strong potency right off the bat!

My golden teachers proved to be quite potent . very very dark bruising *looked black in low lighting* Though im not sure if that's a true indication of potency as ive seen it debated quite alot on the forums .
Ive yet to try my PESA though!
