Death
    #22461029 - 11/01/15 08:45 AM (8 years, 2 months ago)

It's so hard to comprehend death. So when someone dies the brain is dead. There's no more thoughts or emotions. It's like you never existed. It's complete nothingness. It's so weird to imagine that. I don't believe in religion . Death is some crazy unknown shit .

"I don't believe in religion"

That is a laughable phrase in your context.

Spirituality and Religion are 2 distinctly separate things.

Not really.  Spirituality is just making up your own personal religion that nobody else believes in.

Yea.
And 'Religion' is a set path, it is a set of rules and guidelines.

Within Personal Spirituality there are no 'sets of rules', you learn and experience yourself, and decide what is truth based on your own interconnected experiences and things you've learned.

....I can go on.....:2 distinctly different things

Sometimes it is, sometimes it isn't.  It could go either way.

Thinking you are superior for being spiritual and not religious is like proudly proclaiming you don't watch TV and then watching netflix on your computer.

Death?
I find it hard to take seriously anymore..that is to say worrying about what happens or doesn't happen at death.
I think logically (albeit abstract) speaking, a simple atheistic heaven of eternal non-existence...doesnt make sense.

Lets show why, if From non-existence we came (prebirth) to exist and eventually return to non-existence (death).
who is to really say that you wont emerge from non-existence to again exist once more, an idea similar to reincarnation.

Even a "nothing" upon death has mystical implications.

That depends on how you define "you".  If "you" is dependent on your memories, which I think it is, then we can make a claim because it has clearly been shown that memories are stored in the brain's configuration.  When the brain's configuration goes, so do you.  And whatever it is that might come back, if it does not contain your memories - it is not you.

My grandpa had alzheimer's.  I watched the essence of who he is, his soul, die before his body died.

I think it is superior, because I believe in individuality.
But I never said that in this thread until now.
I was simply saying spirituality and religion are different and from how he said it, in his context, he did not know that.

Yes the physical body disappears over time and some people also believe the soul disappears but the memories and legacy you leave behind stay. If you were significant enough to stick in someone's memory you probably affected their life in some way whether bad or good. They say you don't truly die until someone thinks of you for the last time.

Einstein said Energy cannot be destroyed, only converted.

Everything in this world is energy. Everything about us is energy, our consciousness is energy. You can feel and manipulate energy.

Your conscious can never be 'nothing', because energy cannot be destroyed.

Why do you think that consciousness is that which has the physical units of kg m / s^2?  You are conflating the mystical notion of energy with they scientific notion of energy.  They are not the same thing.

I carry beliefs/ways from whatever makes sense to me based on my own experiences.
This means I agree with certain points made in just about every single Religion in existence.
How more individual could it get? Obviously I will agree with certain things with others.
Especially anything in accordance with Universal Law, Truth, the Right Way

Probably. I think the idea of forcing a soul to watch its legacy would be interesting - if you raised nasty children that go on to become convicts it will hurt you and you will possibly regret it. On the other hand someone who raised lovely philanthropic children will be very proud. Either way you're strapped in for the ride.

Depending on whether you believe in reincarnation maybe you take this knowledge to the next life and fix your mistakes.

Every life is a 'blank sheet of paper' for the purpose of learning, overcoming problems, experiencing.

But you can tap in to your 'spirits memories', which basically makes you a God to the regular Joes of the Earth.

Yea I believe in reincarnation, but I believe we come here at our Own Will, when we want, when we are ready, and for specific reasons we wish to improve ourselves on.
It is all about self Evolution.

This is my last incarnation on this damned planet.

How do you tap into those memories then? That would be interesting for me, I'd love to experience and see them.

Also why is this your last incarnation?

This is my last incarnation on Earth.

Earth is a very difficult place for incarnation, it is a hardcore planet because of all the conflict.

There are many 'paradise planets'. Imagine a Tropical world with only Plants, small animals, and small populations of tribal humans or other types of biological vehicles.
That's where I will go, but not until after an eternity spent in the spirit world.

I've been here many times and this is my last, why? Thats a difficult question to answer.
I just know that it is, and I don't want to return. This is not my 'homeworld', I am an alien spirit to this place and its ways.
I would leave now, if I hadn't come here for a great reason.
Although I have. This is my final reincarnation I will do something great.

For the older souls incarnations become less frequent and eventually one may decide simply to stop.
I am an old soul, though that does not make me 'a greater being' than others. We are all immortal spirits/sparks of energy from the same source, but some have more Power, because of experience, learning, etc.....

How to tap into those memories?
Its not only tapping into the memories, thats actually the most difficult part. You can tap into your Oversoul and find out Who you are.

Let me explain this real quick:
When you incarnate, you are fragmenting your 'Whole Spirit', the part that incarnates is a 'blank sheet' of yourself, but is still connected to your Whole Spirit which stays in the spirit world.
So who you are right now, is a fragment of your Whole Self. You can either choose to connect/become close to your Whole Self, or ignore the connection (which most people do).

How to tap into those memories?
When you meet your Whole Self while incarnated, you will not gain ALL of the memories of your existence, because if you know Everything, what will you learn?
You will learn Who you are, the energy of yourself, the Power, the Age, all of the Positive energies in their purest form you can imagine.

How?
For older souls this will come naturally, with ease. Because the Power/Energy is much harder to ignore than to accept and learn from.

Psychedelics will help you come close to your Subconscious, but your Connection to your Whole Spirit lies in your Superconcious.

Order: Conscious, Subconscious, Superconscious.

Meditation, you can find yourself. Psychedelics, can sometimes trigger an OBE. In a real OBE you are no longer connected to your Body/Brain so the experience is real.

If you, or anyone is actually interested in anything I'm saying I can go into further detail, personally.

Did I some how imply that I'm spiritual ? I was just throwing out there, I don't believe in God. This makes death scary as I don't have a dream to keep telling myself. Although when i got so high a few times and thought I was going to die I was begging God to let me live lol

I'm with you MajickMuffin, from my experiences, I am an old soul, having incarnated throughout all potential states of consciousness, beyond human, and then beyond that, even beyond that, I kept going until entering a black-hole and doing it all over again..billions of reincarnations until I just popped back into my current one.

Thats when the architect began communicating with me through intelligent coincidences...a sort of friendly reminder I suppose that, yes, indeed, it seems ultimately we are one consciousness experiencing itself subjectively..considering I had just existed or will/have existed as every living thing possible..

Its like parallel lines, we can't reach that perfection ourselves, but if we understand that perfection, and we understand our relationship to it, we can strive to not fall further from it, and progress up the realm to the ultimate.
