Fruit Flies/Lil Black Flies

Okay so for the past few months I've been dealing with Fruit Flies in my grow area.
There used to be so many that I would see them flying around in the air once in a while (when this happens you know they in your shit).
Now I hardly ever see them, How did I get rid of them:
1. Throw out all objects which they are multiplying in. (this will not allow them to sustain population) 2. Mix Clove Oil in with Water in a mist bottle. Mist all over your grow area, SGFC/Tubs, Jars, bags....They HATE Clove Oil. Do this a few times a day and eventually this should keep them away from multiplying in your shit. Smash them niggas if you ever see them.
Anyone else have any other methods to keep them away or to kill them automatically? Fly Papers work with them?
Ive got rid of about 98% of the flies.

Definately it does. But I feel like you cant really egt rid of 100% of them in your home, because they are so small and at least 1 or 2 would continue to sustain the population.

Had a similar problem
Went to my local store and bought 4 roll of fly catchers for $1. It is like a scented sticky tape.
4 hours later caught a ton of them.
I like your ideas though, I will give them a shot

Apple Cider Vinegar Trap
Before you panic about your fruit-fly invasion, start with a simple trap and some apple cider vinegar. Fruit flies can’t resist the smell of fermentation, and since apple cider vinegar is from fermented apples, it’s a dream drink to them. Heat the vinegar beforehand to release more of its irresistible fragrance.
You will need…
-A mason jar or something similar -A funnel (you can make one yourself) -Apple cider vinegar, about ½ cup -A drop of dish soap -A piece of ripe or overripe fruit (optional)
This Here
Heat up a half cup or so of apple cider vinegar ( I don't heat mine up) and pour it into your jar- it just needs to be deep enough for the flies to drown-and add a drop or two of dish soap. The dish soap will break the surface tension of the liquid so the flies can’t just sit on top and fly away when they’re done.
Roll up a piece of paper and insert it into the mouth of the jar to form a makeshift funnel and tape it in place. The flies will go into the jar to get at the vinegar but won’t be able to figure out how to get out, and will drown. You can also use some plastic wrap and secure it with a rubber band, poke a hole big enough for them to get in and they won't be coming back out.
This is a pretty effective way to get rid of them little fucktards.
This method I just copied and pasted here from the site in the following link, there is also 3 other methods Here

Okay so Fly Paper does work. Thank you! I will have to get some.
But yea Clove Oil can keep that away, but it can also lock them in, lets say if you already have some in your shit, and you spray around your shit...

I had such a bad out break a few years ago. I would just take a vacuum cleaner and suck them all up. Then suck up a bunch of lysol and tape the hose over so they couldnt escape. I got rid of them pretty fast, by doing this a few times a day.
I had some in the kitchen this summer and they seemed to have died off pretty much on their own. Winter has always been the easiest for me to work on stuff too.
