Everything good except one cake not pinning?
    #22460768 - 11/01/15 07:28 AM (8 years, 2 months ago)

So using a shotgun fruiting chamber, I have about 3,maybe 4 inches ofperlite in there. I have a 6500k bulb with a 100 equivalent wattage about 3 feet away(it's very bright). The temp rarely varies far from 70 degrees. For humidity, I spray the perlite a few times a day and fan for about 30 seconds right after that. So I have 3 cakes in there right now, 1 is pinning pretty well, one just okay, and the third has like one baby pin on it. The third one has been in for about six days and is clearly not pinning on the same schedule the the others did. So is my setup okay? I can attach a pic of you guys need it. I kind of wish I had the full 5 inches of perlite, but at this point would that be worth the trouble? I'm spraying it more than enough without getting puddles of water. Thankyou in advance for anyone who replies. Oh! And they were all dunked and rolled and my analog hydrogemeter reads 100.
This is also the first flush for all of them

Sounds like you did everything right.

I don't know if you indirectly mist the cakes but you should as well. A major factor in pinning is water evaporating off of the cakes. Give it some time and it should pin as well.
