Air flow from hepa
    #22460623 - 11/01/15 06:13 AM (8 years, 2 months ago)

I know the minimum air flow that comes from the filter must be 100f/m but what is the maximum? What if there is 200f/m coming from the filter? Would that still be fine?

Include your flowhood math, filter size and specs, and blower spec.

My filter is 1220mm x 610mm h14 efficiency. On the spec sheet of the filter it says it has a static pressure of 120pa. The blower is a HIT 350B.

I did get a speed control also for the fan so i'll be able to control the speed and i have a wind speed meter that i can use to measure the ait flow coming from the filter but it only starts reading at 170f/m flow

think like this hepa filters have a lifespan if you tune it to 100 it will work fine for you any more than optimal value just depletes the lifespan

But the filter will still work properly and produce laminar flow and i won't get contamination?  It will have a decent pre-filter also
