I.D. request

Curious to know exactly what this is. I know its active and it resembles azurescens (at least to my eye) found fruiting from pine needles on the northern Oregon coast.         they are the 4 along the top on the right, thought i'd include this just to show the color difference from azzies.

I've actually found them 2 years in a row and had considered that possibility but was hoping to find out for certain. Today was the first time I've found them growing from pine needles without grass even in the vicinity. Previously I've found them growing from moss with grass around it. They seem to be less potent than azzies found in grass. Still do the job though!!

The look similar to p. Serbica but that's unlikely, and they really just look like dark brown azzies

They look active. I'm not convinced on what they are though. Wait for a TI.

We're used to seeing the pictures of the perfect little orange azzies online, but in truth most of the ones I find are brown all the way through.  Conditions are not always perfect enough to make them the stark orange color, and they fade as the age.

I agree they look almost exactly like azurescens but wouldn't it be odd for azurescens to grow from pine needles? i dug up a picture from last year of one growing in moss.

edit: I should also note that the area I found them is not a recently changed habitat or anything of that nature, the area looks like its been the way it is for a long while.
