This report is going to be about my first time with LSD, taking one tab equal to 150ug. First, I made a deal with a friend for a trade between mushrooms and LSD, because he's never done mushrooms and me never LSD. I got the tab and decided I'd drop it Friday night on October 30th.
9:20 - Ingestion of one tab of 150ug of LSD. I have my computer and MIDI keyboard turned on to make music, paper and pencils to draw and write down what I'm feeling, phone to play music and talk to a friend if need be, and water. A little bit of anxiety, not as much as mushrooms.
10:30 - My room is noticeably more vibrant, with my fan light radiating an orangish tint and everything else in my room having a slight slanted glow appeal. I begin to get more invested in my drawings and notice minor shaking in the corner of my vision.
The time's after the initial come up notice isn't really important, because I can't exactly differ between what happened at what time. I remember vividly that when I listened to music I could hear all the s and t and c sounds cut through the air, almost like how a sword being unsheathed sounds in the movies. All sound also had this underwater frequency to it, where It was distorted to where it was more crystal clear. One of the major differences I noticed between LSD and Mushrooms is how music sounds. LSD is music appreciation, Mushrooms is music distortion.
I also noticed just how strong LSD was compared to Mushrooms. I always heard of LSD being a lot less visual than Mushrooms but that was not the case. I remember seeing Cyrillic letters scrolling up and down like a slot machine on my sheets, and actually seeing the frequencies and vibrations of sound in the air. Every single letter in a word would have its own rotation and life almost, and I felt like words were a living organism just like us. Even the dot on the little "i".
Another major difference between this trip and my mushroom experiences is the CEV's. On mushrooms I could never seem to get distinct CEV's, but on LSD it was almost instantaneous. I closed my eyes and I could see hills composed of colorful television static-esque lights and textures. They flapped with the wind and rippled in and out like a penny hitting the bottom of a wishing well.
The euphoria on this trip was absolute insanity. At one point during the trip, I was at absolute ecstasy, and came to two conclusions. A) I am a non human entity trapped inside of a rigid and conformed human body. LSD had unlocked my spiritual corpus callosum so my universal ego could communicate and melt away my human qualities and thoughts. I thought this because to reach this level of euphoria, it's not possible to be human. B) A god exists, and I am that God. I thought happiness was the core of the universe and human on going life and motivation, so to achieve this level of happiness I knew all. I actually came to the conclusion that I was a spiritual entity that controlled the heavens and frequencies of others.
After this and some music playing on my MIDI keyboard, I decided to turn off all the lights and reflect. I closed my computer, turned off the MIDI, and turned off my main light. I got into bed and just stared into my ceiling as I listened to a very soothing and trip pushing song (Glass Animals - Cocoa Hooves, recommended by a shroomery user). I remember seeing ripples morphing from the center of my ceiling and vision swirling out into a wheel of fortune spinning motion. The more I stared, the more appeared and eventually my whole point of view was collided with moving colors and visuals formed from darkness and sound. I shed a few tears from pure ecstasy, and this went on for a while.
At about 2 am, the peak started to mellow out and I was overly stimulated and mind fucked. I decided to put on a movie on netflix and decided on 2001 Space Odyssey. If you've seen this movie, you know how fucking odd it is sober, let alone tripping. I oddly resonated with all the characters, especially the computer Hal who started developing emotions. I watched this movie until about 4 am where I listened to some mellow music and watched videos.
6:00 am - I grab an apple and review what just happened to me. I look over my drawings in astonishment at the chaos and ultimate conjunction with everything on the page. I relaxed and fell asleep at about 7:00, waking back up at 10:00 to get a shower and smoke some marijuana to fall back asleep.
Overall, this experience was definitely life changing. The main lessons I took from it were passion and humility. I learned what I really admire and strive for is something worth my passion and that I need to seek what I feel fit. I was also quite humbled. I went into the trip thinking I was some sort of psychedelic master with only 3 mushroom trips behind me (only one heroic). LSD was far more intense than my 5.5 gram mushroom trip, although neither really compare to each other. I love both of the substances, but I think my heart goes to LSD. I loved the clear headspace and mass head euphoria.
Thanks for reading. Godspeed.
