Taking a large dose and getting sick and far too high as a new shroomer is very common and a lesson we all seem to learn the hard way. I ate over 7 grams on my 3rd or 4th trip and got so out of my mind and body high I couldn't move for hours etc. It is good you had this powerful trip as now you know what is too much and that even in the case of taking far too much and getting way to high you can still manage it well, or relatively well. Staying at 3 grams or under should be much more controllable and easy for you to enjoy. 2.8 isn't a bad dose to trip on if you aren't looking for a heavy experience. Anyways glad you struggled through the bad trip and welcome to the club, we've all been there and done that

Next time you have a bad trip, drink as much water as you can, until your stomach is completely full. I don't understand exactly the science behind it, but whenever I'm having a bad trip and I do it I come down almost immediately. It probably decreases the psilocybin concentration in the blood plasma i'm not sure.

Drinking enough water is essential for the human body to function, but drinking too much can be just as dangerous as drinking too little.

So i imagine me swallowing those huge undigestable chunks without a doubt had to be the cause of the excruciating nausea and stomach pain?
I've eaten smaller fresh mushrooms with zero nausea . Next time I will try tea for sure! What does Shroomery think? has my noob form of ingestion been the cause of my last two bad experiences ?
That's quite possibly the source of your stomach discomfort, especially if you were swallowing them in big chunks instead of chewing them up (and lol, I've never heard of anyone doing that with mushrooms, why didn't you just chew them up?)
With that said...I really do think that a lot of the people out there that experience nausea (not all, but a good portion of people, especially those new to mushrooms/psychedelics) do so from anxiety or jitters that lay beneath the surface, or a psycho-somatic like effect...and not from having some bits of mushrooms in their stomach. Your mention of anxiety, so much so you had to take some meds, makes me think that might be the source of your nausea...or at least it's likely having an influence on the nausea and stomach discomfort you experience.
Lots of people do claim to avoid the nausea by making a tea though, so it's worth a shot.
For the past 8 years or so I've ate my mushrooms straight up, chewed up and washed down with water on a mostly empty stomach...and never had nausea. Recently starting taking them via tea though, because of the rapid onset and ease of re-dosing .

These days they often make me nauseous but they never used to. Now I make tea, or more often I just take 4 aco dmt instead.
