DELICIOUS!!!!

3.5lb beef chuck eye steak marinated in a nice cabernet for 48 hours.

Stew the steaks for one hour in 4 cups beef broth for one hour

Add 1/2 bottle of a pino wine
2 cups beef broth
2 tbsp. chopped garlic
1 bag pearl onions
2 lbs mushrooms
2lbs chunky carrots
salt, pepper, marjarom, thyme, tarragon.

Slow boil this for another hour.

Serve over flat noodles, polenta, rice or crusty bread.

Everyone should ask their local butcher for "chuck eye steak"  It's something that you can pot roast super tender on the stove top in little time or even grill and eat like a ribeye.

That looks damn soul satisfying.  I'd opt for the polenta, rice or mashed potatoes as a pairing, crusty bread a given!  God I love pearl onions all stewed up and full of meaty flavor goodness.
