It's just the natural color of the stem. However, the white color of those caps looks concerning. Perhaps an extreme FAE issue/ mold taking over/ or a mixture of both

Exactly, I never eat mushrooms that look sketchy, it's just not worth it. There will be other grows.

Vert sometimes makes caps go grey. The grey shit can be wiped off with a qtip if it's vert/bacteria

I have eaten mushrooms with those brown splotches on bottom stem raw before and I'm still alive I'd say dehydrate them and eat em.

Oh I didn't see the brown shit. That's so definitely vert. Vert causes grey caps and brown spots on the stems. Bingo!! Verts such a bitch. It gets into any prints made too.
@spirit vert is completely edible. Even the bacteria that causes the blotches is edible lol
