just mix the cakes after rinsing them off to get the uncolonized parts off with the manure and out it outside, son't worry about much else just keep it moist

Will I have to bring the poo to field capacity before mixing in the cakes, and how will I handle water logging if I accidently over mist'em?
Cronicr: Will I need to fan'em or will they get enough FAE through the pollyfill?.
Mr. Wilson: 50/50. Poo/ Verm?

yep bring the poo to field capacity, as for water logging just mist only when needed, let it dry up between mistings, poly will be fine for fae, horse manure needs no verm at all, composted steer manure or cow manure does though and yes 50/50 would be ideal

Thanks, am going to put it together tomorrow morning. I will keep the board posted on its progress.
Oh, one last question. Should I do it in a Monotub "type of box" design?

I dunno
verm makes manure good and airy
manure will pack down after a while and it holds water fairly well

Then don't make it so wet . I rarely see manure subs too dry as an issue.
I've done pure hpoo for the majority of my growing life. I just recently started adding straw. I love straw and poo combo. It felt soo nice
