Contamination after first flush

She just picked the rest of the first flush yesterday. She picked a few mushies the day before for maximum potency, then waited a day to pick the last 2 for prints. Now today, it looks like there is a small patch of cobweb mold on top of the cake. It smells a little funky in the sgfc as well. Should she dunk in a water and iso mix then proceed to second flush, or are the cakes doomed?

https://files.shroomery.org/files/15-44/622600011-20151030_102511.jpg Sorry she meant to upload it in the first post. It's hard to see. But its a greyish area near the top left of the cake. 95 percent sure its cobweb. Just looking for a solution if any. Thanks

Hard to see clearly, but you say you picked mushrooms the day before, did they start to drop spores? It could be myc with some black spores mixed in with it..Cobweb isn't as likely once out of the jar. It could be tric, but it doesn't look like the correct colour yet. I'd keep any eye on it for another day or two. If it starts greening or growing then yo need to dispose of the cake.
Your cake is also blueing, meaning its likely too dry.

Yeah she's letting them dry out before dunking. Should the spot be sprayed with h2o2?

I don't think you need to, the more I look the more I see spore drop. Give it a couple of days and check if there is any change.

Well... the cake went down due to contamination. Sorry for no picture, be she just wanted to get it out asap because dark green/blue/blackish spots started to appear on it. But the good news is that the other cake had a pin on it, so it is currently dunking. Unfortunately she lost the pin while dunking, but hopefully more will show.
