long time lurker here, decided id keep a eye out when walking the fields today as we have had a lot of heavy rain the last few nights and came across these. temps have been around 10-15c daytime and 2-8c nighttime
numbers 19-25 i think are questionable
* Habitat - North facing Sheep field * Location - Located in the East of Ireland @ about 120M * Gills - Mixture of grayish white/brown * Spore print color - Not sure yet, gonna take samples of them overnight * Scent of the mushroom - Earthy slight spice smell * Color that the mushroom bruises when damaged - Some show slight blue

9,19,20,23,24,25 are possibly Panaeolus. The others look like liberty caps. There's nothing poisonous there anyway!

First hunt? It becomes much easier once you've found your first ones.. it becomes second nature, like learning to ride a bike.

Purple prints from yesterdays id'ed ones half dried out now
few more found today

they where fairly small tho, roughly how long do they take to get to a decent size? as i found loads that where far to small to pick. thinking of trying again monday, only thing is its turned back into summer here, was 18c today and its ment be the same tomorrow before getting colder on monday, no sign of rain due till tuesday night, then by end week temps climb again

Nice libs, got enough for a decent trip or two now. I like a dose of 20 or so.
Yes it's crazy warm out there, I walking in a t-shirt and it's November in a few hours... We've had loads of rain here, no problem there. I saw a decent number of libs today with fresh ones coming through. The warm weather might help prolong the season so it may not be bad, nature is probably confused though.

They're probably about the same size, just close up. Usually the season comes to an end with the first proper frost, no sign of that for a while so there could be a few weeks of the season left, probably past the peak now though.
Make much of a diff to what? Potency wise dried libs are about as potent as fresh ones. Libs are full of the more stable psilocybin instead of psilocin which gets destroyed with drying, i.e. cubensis.
