Is this cobweb or mycelium?

After dunking the cakes for roughly 18 hours at room temperature and then rolling jin vermiculite, some white fuzz began to emerge, but not wispy, rather dense. I was not sure if it is mycelium or cobweb and how my growing chamber looks.

The pic is real fuzzy and hard to make out but it doesn't look like cob to me just mycelium. Your humidity may be too high, shoot for %80 when fruiting. Up your fea

Its mycelium. Maybe a better pic Of the fc may help. They do look like they need more fae.

How do I increase my FAE? Could I take off the lid to the chamber. I am using one of the Midwest grow kits.

I am using one of the Mega Kits from MidwestGrowkits. I have a HEPA filter attached to an air filter and then going through a jar of hydroton, along with another hose going from the humidifier to the chamber. I taped off the hole, so there were no gaps where the fresh air enters. I am running the filtration two times a day for an hour and a half. I have two light blubs, a dim led in the inside and a 800lumen light bulb hanging over the edge. I keep the lights on for 8-10 hours. There is a lid over the chamber as well. The whole FC is in a closet too, against a wall facing outside actually. The humidity is hovering around 97-99%, so I am a little concerned, even though fresh air enters now and then. I will send clearer pictures later today.

Build a proper sgfc if you want a chamber of fae
Pumps filters and humidifiers aren't enough. Sgfc is a box with a ton of holes everywhere. Naturally aspired constant fae for the win

Could I potentially just drill holes in the existing fc to make it a sgfc? How would I orient the holes, I.e. where should the holes be located?

I do not have a drill or access to making such holes. How else could I increase air flow? Should I spray h202 peroxide onto the perlite in between flushes?

Why does no one ever use the proper forum..

Because mushroom cultivation is the proper forum! Contamination forum is a dead forum.

In what way is it horrible, and why do you think it is bacteria and how could I remedy that? I just want to know how I can concretely change and salvage what I have devoted myself to thus far.

What if it is just ariel myc? Could I alter that growth? I pointed a fan at the container and I know it is not an optimal fc, but I do not have a way of creating holes, so I turned the filter on more often, because midwestgrowkits mushroom growing guide said that often when humidity levels reach 99% that unusual fuzz forms, and that one should turn the air filter on more.

that grow kit "tek" is horribly wrong, just throw away the so called instructions. dont you have anything metal you can heat and melt holes?
this way the perlite is useless, and is that thing sitting on a heat pad? if so remove it.

if those are just ariel myc then there is no problem for you to worry right? just lover the humidity to see if it works.

I just pulled back the lid a crack, maybe a half a centimeter in width.

You could compare to section 14, insufficient environment, http://www.shroomery.org/forums/showflat.php/Number/17231150
If you mist those cakes and give them FAE via holes in the tub they'll likely retrun to normal
