I'm kind of new to the hobby myself, but my guess would be bacteria. It should still be safe to fruit and eat. Honestly, I didn't see much yellowing, you should get a good flush.

Oh yea, just make sure you're not keeping it too warm, that can stress the mycelium and cause metabolites. Too warm can also germinate contams.

You have a pin in the middle of your sub I believe (hard to see.)  Looks a little on the dry side.  You want water droplets all over the surface.

Are you asking about the yellowing in the bottom right?  Take a better photo.  Might be trich, might just be a little bit of dried out mycellium.

Is that cased or not?

I spawned some popcorn casings and had double-overlay cause I didn't put enough hydrogen peroxide in my automated aquarium mister.  I only got one mushroom so I cut off the head part where the seeds fall from and put it in a jar of LC and sprayed it all over a tin of PF cakes I made with gravel, cardboard, and bisquick in my microwave.  I think it will be good cause B+ is so potent.
Triggered yet?

Only a square would say "a cube is a cube."

No, this does not look right...

Yeah, this is only my third grow as well,so I'm pretty new too.The pins just started popping up today so I got pretty excited about that just didn't like the yellowing.yes they are cased with coir, couldn't find Verm anywhere,I think next time I will go uncased.I did have some hydration issues early on.i had both of my sgfc's in a very dry room that seemed to be sucking the moisture out of everything so quick I couldn't keep up.i will get some better pics and throw them on.thanks for the advice

It's probably just a dry spot then.  Again, water droplets all over the surface is what you want.  If that's trich, you'll know soon enough.

Casing with coir is fine, definitely better than nothing, especially if you're using an SGFC, that extra protection is a very good thing.

I'm writing a verm free casing tek.  I haven't quite explored variations enough to release it yet, but here it is http://www.shroomery.org/forums/showflat.php?Cat=0&Number=22447802&page=0&vc=1#22447802

I would just get a peat based potting soil (prefably pH balanced and without fertilizer) instead of screwing with peat bales and hydrated lime.  Hydrate it with half its volume in water, make a bit of extra coir incase it was wet to buffer the water content (say 40% coir instead of 30%) then mix it in and microwave.  I think it's around 4 minutes a quart.  Violet also has a potting soil tek.  I haven't explore it yet, but it inspired some of what I did.

Highly recommend switching to monotubs.
