I currently use a 12qt Mirro PC and want to upgrade. I am interested in the 23.5 qt all american. Here is my question. I can fit 7 qt jars in my 12 qt PC. The all american, which is almost twice the size (and quality!) says that it can only hold 7 qt jars. Is that correct? Anyone out there know of a pc that can hold over 7 qts at a time? thanks

I have the 21 quart all american and I can fit 10 quart jars in it even though it only advertises 7. What I do is put 7 in it upright and lay 3 on their sides across the top. It works great.

That is what I thought, I didn't know if you would run into problems with them on their sides though   Thank you.
