Hello. I am glad to have stumbled upon your website as I have just gotten interested in gathering wild mushrooms (especially magic).
I found these mushrooms out in a park soccer field. I think that they are liberty caps (Psilocybe semilanceata) but am not 100% sure as I am a novice mushroom hunter.

Stalks are very thin and white to gray as well as the gills (far from white though). All the caps are around 1.5 cm and have a nipple which is a common characteristic I read.
No spore prints.
Next I have some mushrooms that I found in the woods. After looking at these and comparing them with videos on youtube; I believe them to be Psilocybe Cyanescens.

These here are some that I picked a couple of days earlier. They've had time to dry out a bit.

The pictures for these speak for themselves. My primary concern is that these are too big to be Cyanescens. Also I had a second opinion stating that they were in fact not what I was looking for. I'm not too sure on that opinion however and want to double check with you fine folks to help identifying these mushrooms.
Again, no spore prints. Haven't gotten around to acquiring any.
If none of these are the ones I believe to be, please let me know what they are! The supposed liberty caps should be psychoactive either way but some look a likes are very weak. Don't hesitate to ask questions/tell me what I'm doing wrong!

Neither of those are active. So no they are not what you were looking for. Not liberty caps and definitely not Cyanescens.

Darn I thought those were Mycena but am never confident enough with non-actives.

Thanks for the responses you guys, and thank you for the identification. I'm glad I registered to this site. Now that I have; I know that sooner or later, I'll come across some in the wild eventually. Cheers!
