Deutsche Bank = The Next Lehman Brothers
    #22448024 - 10/29/15 07:05 AM (8 years, 3 months ago)

Deutsche Bank.  Massive derivatives exposure, bad loan exposure, and completely upside down and bankrupt already.  The amount of derivatives they hold is multiples of the entire European economy.  Leveraged and not in the right position.

Stock symbol appropriately = DB.  Down 2 bucks and ready to really head lower.  Probably go belly up completely and get bought out for pennies on the dollar before "it's" all over in 2016.

Just laid off another 6000 workers today.

Yep. I had discussed them in those terms in my Global Depression thread.

They are cutting 35,000 jobs and exiting ten countries.

They definitely have the potential to be the trigger. They say that leverage, particularly hidden leverage, is what usually brings them down.

It would be interesting to know how much they are leveraged, but I can't find anything.  Lehman Brothers was leveraged 30 to 1 before they collapsed. Btw, the Fed is leveraged at 78 to 1.

From a selfish POV, hopefully they will go into full collapse soon, as my puts on European financials expire in January.

If DB gets into trouble, it will be human choice if they go under or not.  The ECB continues to buy up the bad debt from the banks and puts it on their balance sheet, never underestimate the extent these people will go to save their own asses.

How will you feel about the coming Bail INS????  Talk about taking something directly from someone (you the taxpayer/bagholder of bad debts).

You gotta love how with each passing fake non-GAAP buyback driven debt financed "great earnings", casually it's mentioned how the company is also laying off thousands of people.  Chevron, yeah they beat estimates today, yippee, oh BTW 7000 people to be sent home.

When the gov stopped adding layoffs to their already completely manipulated unemployment numbers, how disingenuous can they be when it's becoming an every day event?

too much corruption to toxic of a corporate gang world wide for things to go south. world will be depleted like France for napoleon before the citizens have to outcast it, then prepare for it to come back set it free and then outcast it again when it tries to take over again.
gotta deploy the mushroom on the topic, because in a real mental way that is the only bind we have to the workforce which is the only economy the only thing tangible is that people keep getting up and going to a place and doing something there. please see my point, i might be too out there but the top part is what happened to napoleon he got outcasted twice.
I think the real terror is the middle easy, I think this whole middle east destroying museums is going tobe in the future looked back on showing how a race of people can destroy the heritage of a species and will be the result further of elongating the time it takes for humans to realize how long we've been civilized. ty/

The corruption is precisely what will take "the system" down.  As a tie in to the OP, just last week Germany aka Merkel and China agreed to a closer trade arrangement.  A big part of this is tied to all the corruption and debt created in China and financed by Deutsche Bank etc.  The Chinese just keep refinancing the bad loans, what else can they do?  I agree with your "things won't go south" just yet, but it's getting closer day by day...

I think my bank uses the dividend fund to buy its own stock.
