Having trouble initiating pinning (bulk WBS+straw uncased)

hi guys, So this is my first bulk Sub attempt using tampanensis strain. its been three weeks since i put WBS spawn into a monotub with plain straw +gypsum substrate. It fully colonised in about 8 days, so i introduced light and FAE.
At first I had some trouble keeping the temp up at night and it would drop to about 10'C in the room, this caused heavy condensation on the inside of the tub and on the colonised sub.
Ive introduced a timed FAE to address this, using a aquarium pump and some polyfill to filter the air.
So far the condensation on the tub has reduced and humidity is around 85-90.
there is still heavy condensation on the mycelium though. Could this be stopping any pinning from happening?
the temp during the day can get up to 25'C in the tub. Which i know is a bit high. too high? trying to find the right balance as there is some beginning signs of contams, (a few specs of yellow on a couple of uncolonised bits of straw)

Looks healthy. I don't think 25C is to high as long as google is right converting it to 77 freedom units. If anything I think the 10c would hurt you more, growth rate has an extreme drop off below high 60s. I think you just need to make sure the temps don't drop intensely and keep patient, sometimes it takes a minute to pin.
edit: and by high 60s I mean Fahrenheit.

I may be wrong, but I think straw needs to be cased...

get the aquarium shit out and just adjust your poly, no straw does not need to be cased

thanks guys. ill look into swapping to a external fan. oxygen pump is all ive got at the moment. i took a heap of polyfill out of the bottom holes to reduce heavy condensation on the tub. Should i have just left it as it was? its very light on polyfill at the moment.

you want the bottoms tight, the surface condensation is a good thing

ill make sure to stuff them a bit tighter. cheers for the tip.
For what reasons do you prefer a fan over an aquarium pump? Does it allow for more FAE? i would have thought an aquarium pump would flush fresh air though the FC more efficiently? Is there some atmospheric pressure issues with pumps?

all it needs is a good natural flow in the room, enough to get a good temp differential helps too as i was saying it gives that beads of moisture effect on the surface which gives you 99% rh on the surface which allows you to blast more fae...perfect

Still no signs of pinning I switched to a external fan, and plugged the bottom holes tighter.
I am considering adding a casing layer, but am worried that the few spots of contam will colonise it faster than the mycelium, so probably will make it worse off? any thoughts guys?
Should I case, or just wait?
