Habitat: Found these in Humboldt county fortuna in someone's front yard. It grows on soil well taken care of dark green grass. Spread apart growing 3-4 in a groups all over lawn. Gills: Color chocolate brown to dark brown, attached, gills
Stem: Length 1-3 inches, , texture smooth lines running up stem , hollow, thin.
Cap: Diameter 1 1/2 inches, color tan, texture smooth with pellicle, becoming flat with age, convex/knobshaped.
Spore print color: Black
Bruising: No brusing.
Other information: Scent very mushroomy, I think this is panaeolus foenisecii.

Post pic of the print, might be cints if it's really a black print. But looks like foes, they print brown, sometimes dark brown.

If the sharpie test shows that they are black prints, you have yourself Panaeolus cinctulus. Which I think are a little bit more exciting that foes.

Very cool. I wonder if they are similar in potency to cinctulus....
