Habitat: Southwest coast of B.C. at sea level. Beside a powerline on a disturbed site bordering a mixed conifer and deciduous forest.
Gills: Greyish brown to tan.
Stem: up to 60 mm long, up to 3 mm thick, tan to brown, smooth, hollow, fibrous, ring under cap on many specimens.
Cap: up to 30 mm diameter, brown to cyan, smooth/slimey, conical to flat, convex, nipple on top, seperable gelatinous pellicle.
Spore print color: comprensive spore print pending; however, a quik smear on toilet paper looks purple to me.
Bruising: There appears to be some darkening of the stem where picked. No significant blueing noticed although I thought that I detected a very slight greenish hue on the cap margin of some specimens.
Other information: Pictures speak a thousand words.

Thats what I was thinking, but I have never found stuntziis before. I thought that I would have noticed more significant blueing on that species but perhaps the brown colour is masking it somewhat.

Well I have a solid purple-brown spore print confirmed now ... So the consensus is bluelegs then? I'll see if they blue up a little upon drying maybe.

If I recall this species of psilocybe does not heavily bruise blue due to its low psilocybin content.

*low psilocin content*
But I don't think an actual scientific correlation has been made between bluing and psilocin content....yet.

I have noticed that there seems to be some very slight blueing on some of the dried specimens. The spore prints looked dark purple brown on white background; on the larger more brown specimens it seemed almost black looking in some light.
