Favorite Shpongle Album? 1

I just discovered this group a few days ago and I think their music is great and the guys who make it have a lot of talent. I've listened to nothing is lost and tales all the way through and parts of the 3 other albums and right now the nothing is lost is really my favorite. I appreciate how the songs all mesh together and how the tracks are layered on top of each other it's very intricate and deep music at some parts, then there's just some ridiculous sounds and music to put you in a psychedelic state. So which one's your favorite?

My two favorite albums are Nothing Lasts and Are You Shpongled, but my favorite songs are mostly on the other albums. Except for museum of consciousness. That album is disappointing.

I listened to the whole album of nothing is lost last night and tonight and it is really amazing music to me at some points and it actually gets very emotional at a few points, only for the music to change tempo and throw some craziness in once again. I don't need to be on any drugs to appreciate this music, I have listened to it both sober and when vaping weed. i wish i found this group a few weeks ago when I had shrooms, this music would have been great.

Yeah, I had the most beautiful experience of my life on LSD, listening to Nothing Lasts. Man it was breathtaking.

I can bet, I just vaporize some weed and this music take me to another place. I also meditate, and with this music I just close my eyes and let it take me away. I find it very relaxing, deep, and helpful for meditation. The part with the woman's vocals on nothing is lost brought me so many positive vibrations, I could feel the love in her singing, even though she was speaking a different language. The great thing is I could appreciate this even if I didn't vaporize any weed because it was just beautiful music. It's funny because at first I didn't like nothing is lost, but I decided to give it another try and it grew on me until I realized it was brilliance in pure form.

Shpongle rules!
Out of all the album, Tales of the Inexpressible is my favorite.
Its a mix of high tech sound engineering and mystical/spiritual music.
Second favorite was tough. I would say Ineffable Mysteries or Museum of Consciousness.
Both have spiritual and genre-bending themes. I Am You is one of the best tracks ever.
But i have to admit, each album has its own unique, perfect tracks. Even my least favorite album Nothing Lasts (too experimental/weird for me), has some awesome tracks in the middle of the album but especiaally at the end too with the turntable effects. Soo good.
But my two favorites have more amazing tracks than others, in my gentle opinion.

I don't really like shpongle (psytrance/psybient/goa trance in general), though Divine Moments Of Truth sounds real trippy

Are You Shpongled at the peak of my first shroom trip was life altering... it has been included on pretty much every shroom trip since. I've never listened to it on acid or DMT or mescaline though.

one of my favorite parts on nothing lasts is after the 11 minute mark, when the male vocals come in, such a strong and powerful rhythm going. one of my other favorite parts was with the foreign female vocals, I seem to enjoy the vocal parts of the tracks

this album is so much deeper than it first appears, it may be one of my favorite albums of all time already. even the title is deep, if you think about it and the other speaking parts on the album where the guy talks about preparing to transcend to another dimension. i actually found sphongle through listening to the alan parsons project, which is another group I love that has deep music, except theirs is lyrically deep, anyways they did a song together called return to Tunguska, check it out if you like either of these groups, or even if you don't

what I love about this group is that they push the limits of the music you are willing to listen to. some of it was so ridiculous and strange to me that the first time I listened to nothing lasts i almost turned it off and gave up permanently. the more i listen to it the more i enjoy it and it makes sense to me. this work is creative genius, a few crazy parts with enough quality music mixed in.

I think those are just some Terence McKenna lecture tracks, who they dedicated the album to - his voice drives me sometimes.
That whole "life must be the preparation for a transition to a higher dimension" just makes me laugh....no offense...

OK, so it's not just me. That's a relief.
I love Shpongle though, it really holds up to repeated listenings.
