First Time Grower, Does This a Look Right?

I really am unsure of what it's supposed to look like and I am afraid it's been contaminated or that it is not going to colonize. I inoculated the jars three weeks ago using brown rice flour and vermiculite and everything was sterilized properly as far as I know. The jars are kept in my laundry room which maintains a temperature of 73-75 degrees. For the first week the room was kept 69-71 degrees and I'm worried the low temperatures may have damaged the spores. Any feedback you can give me would be wonderful.

Temperatures wouldn't be your issue here. When did you knock them up?
Edit: Oh sorry haha didn't catch that part.
Let them sit a little longer to see if anything happens. I don't see any myc in those pictures.

That doesnt look like the correct verm/brf ratio. Either that or contam. How long has it been since inoculation?

I agree with Loc. And also, your brf mix is wayyy to chunky. It's gonna be hard for the mycelium to eat through that.

It will be extremely hard to get those cakes out those jars if at all without damaging them if they colonized. Did you let the jars cool down before inoculating? I'm hoping the spore syringes actually had spores in them. Though the substrate is thick the mycelium would still grow, just a much slower growth with higher chances of stalling.

I agree, too wet, or possibly incorrect method.
One thing not enough PF tek guides emphasize is that YOU NEED TO HYDRATE THE VERM, THEN ADD THE FLOUR. Or you end up with a gooey pile of shit. If that's the case, then you needed less water. Personally I've found the standard 2:1 verm water ratio to be a bit too wet with some of my trails. It shouldn't really matter how much water is in your initial PF mixture as long as it's enough to colonize, since you're gonna dunk it before fruiting anyway.
As psilo says, you won't be able to get the cakes out of those jars. You can fruit them from inside, but any sidepins will be a huge pain in the ass and possibly shit on your whole grow if they rot.
--------------------
I spawned some popcorn casings and had double-overlay cause I didn't put enough hydrogen peroxide in my automated aquarium mister. I only got one mushroom so I cut off the head part where the seeds fall from and put it in a jar of LC and sprayed it all over a tin of PF cakes I made with gravel, cardboard, and bisquick in my microwave. I think it will be good cause B+ is so potent. Triggered yet? Only a square would say "a cube is a cube."
No, this does not look right...

Others would know better than me, but here's my take:
1. Your substrate looks way too chunky. The verm and / or BRF is too big.
2. Those jars look like they hold about a pint. Way too big.
3. Those jars have a neck. You won't be able to take the cakes out.
4. Temperature shouldn't stop myc from growing, will just slow it down. I grew mine in temperatures between 67 and 72 just fine.
5. I'm not sure why you're not seeing growth. Tell us a bit more about your spore source and inoculation methodology.

If it's three weeks later and you have no growth to speak of you're in trouble....those don't look good.
