Hello everyone! So after 15 days waiting this is the point I am at! I'm hoping someone can tell me if this is looking good enough to start fruiting? Or if you notice anything to be worried about? To be completely honest I have started anyways out of impatiens... Either way, I'm hoping in about 5 days I will have some pictures to show you! I am very excited!
The pictures have different exposures so i thought it would be better to post both.

How big is that tub? Did you use a casing layer? If not, then no, don't fruit until 100% colonized.

I have not used a casting layer, the tub is 2"Lx1"Wx1"H. 15 days at a constant 86 degrees, any idea why things are going so slow?

Couple things.. What substrate recipe did you use, and drop that temp to 70.. 75 tops. 86 is WAY too hot for a substrate of that size. Its actually too hot for Petri dishes, the tiniest "substrate" you can have growing on a 2 dimensional plane

Well if it's at proper field capacity, I guess just let it do its thing. Maybe dropping the temps will help a lot it is 15F too high lol..

Spawn ratio? 15 days is pretty slow regardless. You should be seeing full colonization by now normally. I think I see what looks like dried out coir on the top, probably from the heat. I'd consider giving it a heavy misting.
I hope it's alright.

I spawned some popcorn casings and had double-overlay cause I didn't put enough hydrogen peroxide in my automated aquarium mister. I only got one mushroom so I cut off the head part where the seeds fall from and put it in a jar of LC and sprayed it all over a tin of PF cakes I made with gravel, cardboard, and bisquick in my microwave. I think it will be good cause B+ is so potent. Triggered yet? Only a square would say "a cube is a cube."
No, this does not look right...

I'll get the hang of this, like I said in an earlier post, this is my first time! Better to get the mistakes out of the way now...
