Zamal and Granddaddy Purple in flower
    #22442959 - 10/28/15 01:07 AM (8 years, 3 months ago)

Here are my 3 babies that made it through my tests:grin: All the others dried after just 2 to 3 days outside trying to flower them outside:nonono:

These pics are from my Granddaddy Purple plants.

And this last picture is from the only Wild Zamal plant I have left.

Also here are some updated pics of some of my more interesting Loph grafts.

This willy is growing soooo fast that it's cracking.

Here's a pic of my rotting variegated Loph graft that I recently had to do some emergency grafts to save. I went ahead and cut off the other 2 pups you can see here and grafed them a bit differently than I did last time. Made 4 different grafts on 4 different types of stock from these 2 remaining pups:grin:

The first comes from my interesting star shaped seedling "I thought might be a fricii and the second pic is my strange Variegated "possibly" Monstrose Loph.

A few of my more variegated Lophs newer growth. The last pic is from one of my favorite Variegated specimens that I'm a lil worried about. This hole has been there for the past month or more but doesn't seem to be spreading much at all "just VERY slowly" What do you guys think I should do about it if anything at all?

And last I have a couple pics of the seed grown Dragonfruit plant that I thought might be monstrose or something like that. It's putting on some very interesting growth atm:grin:

Those plants are becoming very nice specimens, especially the variegates. Congratulations, spacey.

The hole on top of your plant is a dead apical meristem. It will sprout from a nearby areole to replace it and that will be it, but if you are concerned it may be something fungal eating its way into the plant, you may wish to cut it out until you find clear tissue and dust the wound with sulphur, cinammon or some other anti-fungal substance (probably not the best time of the year to have open wounds on plants). I would leave it as is while keeping an eye on it for possible spread.

I think I'll leave it as is fpor now as it doesn't seem to really be spreading at all. If I see it change I'll take care of it. I also have 2 pups from it so in all the genetics from this plant will never die:uptosomething:

Thank you LSoares for your kind words brother:super:

I hope everything is going smoothly for you where you're at:grin:

Yea I was very surprised how well they've done simply under CFLs.

I plan to change things up a lil but I cannot wait to try that wild zamal:excited:

You've just got them under CFLs? No fancy MH or HPS? Wow. I wouldn't have  guessed they would have done that well under just regular CFLs. Then again though, I'm not well versed in cannabis growing.

I will say though, seeing all these cannabis plants in the forum here is making me miss the stuff. But I can't/won't mess with it until/if it becomes legal around here... One day, hopefully...

I've really gotta go camping before it gets too cold.... I've been meaning to go all summer, just never found the chance.

I'm going to be doing some winter survival camping this winter. Gonna be some great frost bitten toe fun!

Is it too late to take clones, spaceman?

No. I believe I can still clone it, I just haven't really wanted to.

You can take a clone during flowering, but it reportedly causes monster cropping, which leads to long stretched out branching, annd I believe it takes a bit longer for the clones to switch back into veg mode

If you do decide to take clones, chop them from the bottom, least pistillated branches. They will take root in the same amount of time as fully vegging clones, but as mandrin13 said, they will take a bit (week or two depending on environment) to get back into the growth phase.

Some nice variegates spaceman. A lot of my grafts split this year upon waking from dormancy. It usually means there's a good connection or you've given too much water. I give less water until they pup or grow more, which then can support all the growth being pumped into them.

Keep up the good work!:sun:
