... caramelizing o.O?
did it happen when you heated it?
i can't really tell from the pics and liquid inoculum is tough to judge in the first place
i definitely see mycelium in there, however
why not knock up the jars, then you will know for sure?
only thing is it might be difficult to get that into a syringe
next time you might want to throw broken glass or something in there so you can shake it up and break the hyphal network up

It's just a matter of changing the direct subject.
For example, instead of "I turned on the pressure cooker and heated it to 15PSI" you could say "The pressure cooker was heated until it reached 15PSI."
Dunno if that helps...

No problem ^^
1. that is up to you. if you will be making more jars then no, you should probably save some
2. it should have a lot of mycelium now from the way it looks. if it got thicker it would be harder to break up
3. you could try but it seems to be growing fine. i would recommend just sticking with something that works well for a while. you will see if this worked well once you find out if the jars grow or not

Hey this is my first time here, but I've grown some tasmania mushrooms, and I'm not sure about the stems of them. I just picked a few that had some of the Vail broken and I noticed that at the beginning of the stem it looks dark, I can get some pictures of it, I just want to make sure it's safe before anyone eats them. Sorry this is my first grow
