Habitat: Growing in a landscape area next to a sidewalk; it was in what appeared to by a fine dark bark dust; no visible wood chip chunks on the surface; couldn't get a habitat pic as it was a public area
Gills: See pics
Stem: About 1.5" long and 1/8" wide; had a solid feel to it (not flimsy)
Cap: About 3/4" diameter; the cap was also very firm and not flimsy; margins were somewhat incurved similar to baos I have found; see pic
Spore print color: Prints were very faint but appeared similar to cinnamon color; I included a print pic from this mushroom which appeared light brown; in person the print looks like similar color to the reference print pic below.
Bruising: Noticed bluing on the lower stem after picking; I think you can see it in the pics below
Other information: This had a distinct smell similar to cubenisis shrooms I have found in the gulf region
I thought it was a baeos buy the spore print color was not purple/black similar to ones I have found. Can there be a range of colors?
Appreciate input on the ID.
Thanks

Here is a reference pic showing a print with a very similar color. I think the print pic above looks lighter because its very faint.

I am quite certain that isn't a baeo. My guess would be Agrocybe but that is a shot in the dark. I don't see a partial veil though.
I can kind of see the bluing you describe but I think we are fooling ourselves?

Thanks for the feedback. I'm certain it bruised blue but it just looks lighter in the pic.
It's nice how these rains are making a good variety of things popping up.

Agrocybe would be my guess Brown-tan spores rule out psilocybes really

I wouldn't eat that if I were you. A TI's opinion would be nice. You should go back to the spot and try and grab a fresh one.
