I agree with Cron, I'm always afraid I'll waterlog my subs. That's why I never dunk. I always do a heavy misting and the next flush usually comes in pretty quick.
I've also read that leaving the sub to rest for like 3 days after your first flush, will help the sub recuperate, and then you can go ahead and mist it!
Pan mycelia is very delicate too, so try not to move it around too much anyways.

I have found misting to be insufficient as far as replenishing the water back into the sub.
Furthermore, I dont let my sub "rest" for 3 days.. I dunk right after harvesting. The flush/pins come in wayy too fast to give a "resting" period. 48hrs after harvest & the next flush is already coming in! You gotta move fast with this spp. If you don't they'll abort more than an atheist.
&&Dont dunk overnight. I dunk all my pan tubs for 2 hours max! Be careful the sub is extremely fragile.
I broke my pan tub trying my first dunk.
Goodluck, && post some pictures.

yeah I can't see worrying about water-logging being necessary with all the FAE going on. Plus the fact that bottom watering works well

Bottom watering is not going to give the yields your looking for... dunk the entire substrate for a minimum of 60mins, no more than 120min
a good way to sense the moisture content of your substrate is to pick it up at the start of fruiting to "feel" the weight. After harvesting pick it up and weigh again... Your tub/sub will be significantly lighter. you need to replace this lost water weight. Dunking is the best way to go about replenishing.
ok, ok I'm done now.
