Need help with ID!

Hi all I need help identifying these, as I am now sure whether they're psychoactive or not.
Habitat: On a tall mountain, in a dense forest filled with evergreen trees, among leaves/sticks/(and soil) that were on the ground, not found under a tree but rather scattered on random land. Found them only in 1 area, didn't look for them again.
Gills: LIGHT Yellow/Brownish when picked (I THINK), medium spaced.
Stem: Some were long, some were short. Pretty thin and fragile, about 3.5mm(RANDOM GUESS)Color was darker than cap, like dark brown maybe.
Cap: Some of them had a nipple, some of them were young to say.. Cap was pale brownish when picked, turned yellow brownish when dried (PICS). Medium sized to small, more like small.
No Spore print </3
Bruising: Turned a bit darker and more yellowish (I THINK) when dried, stem became a bit darker.
Other information: A LOT of amanita muscarias were growing nearby <3
Here are some pictures BEFORE they were dried c:

And here are some AFTER drying (still need a few days).

=)) What do you think?

Definitely not psychoactive. They look like a Galerina sp., possibly akin to G. marginata. Better pictures would help though.

Will post better pictures tomorrow,
Deff. not galerina marginata since the stem is a lot thinner than G. Marginata's.
I looked at pictures from Galerina Sp. and couldn't find something that "fits".
I'll post new pictures tomorrow!

Without a spore print that will be difficult to ID. I am sure a TI could do it though. Whatever it is, it is most certainly not psychoactive.

I threw them out! :P
How do you immediately know whether they're psychoactive?

I'll say probably a Galerina sp. from what I can see in the pictures. Not definitely G. marginata, but could well be - they come in quite variable sizes. You can't always trust comparison with pictures. People tend to choose the nicest looking and prominent specimens when they take mushroom pictures, so they're not necessarily representative.

They don't have any macroscopic resemblance to any of the known psychoactive species.

Good man. It's just something that comes with experience. Quite a lot of active mushrooms are really easy to spot once you've found them a few times and learned their traits.
I'll give you an example, how are you able to tell apart a lion from a tiger? Both big cats with sandy coloured fur, but over your life you've seen enough in pics, documentaries, zoos to 'just know' which one it is
That make sense? I rambled a bit lol.

I think it might be a little more difficult than differentiating between a tiger and a lion but I agree that it is in the ballpark.
OP I recommend you start taking a look at a couple of different common but active mushrooms in your area. A good starter would either be cyanescens or semilanceata in the PNW. Semilanceata SHOULD be the easiest to find but wouldn't you know it....I haven't found one this season! It also is one of the most potent mushrooms in the world. But I guess potency varies greatly between areas.
