I go to college in a town that is like 3 hours away from any bank of americas, which is my main bank, and is connected to eBay, ect. The only bank in this town is Chase. If I were to open a chase account, could I somehow link bank accounts and send money to my other via depositing money in a chase account and sending it to bank of america? If possible how would I do this?

If you want to deposit checks, you can use the BofA mobile check deposit app and just take a picture of the check with your phone or mail it to them. If you have cash, deposit it into the chase account and write yourself a check. Wire transfer or ACH would have a lot of fees.

You can do money transfers with that mobile app, I don't know what fees there are.

Yea this is my situation, I want to deposit money. Who would I write a check to though? and wouldn't I have to cash it at bank of america for the money to show up in my bank of america account?
btw I'm trying to do transaction with little to no fees, so I don't want to wire or anything like that

You can probably make the check out to "CASH", then the BofA phone app will let you take a photo of the check and deposit it online. Do you have a smart phone or tablet?
You can also mail deposits if you don't have a smart phone. Mark them as " for deposit only" and put your account number on it.
You might be able to convert the cash into a cashier's check of money order and deposit it with the phone app. Then you wouldn't need a local bank account. You will need to check into these options and see what the fees are and if they will work.

My bank will let me ACH to other checking accounts, no charge. It's not a wire it's like a direct deposit. BoA is a big bank look into it a little, I know Wells Fargo has it online.

Chase offers the ability to transfer money into external accounts. You can set it up online.
You can also use the QuickPay service to pay yourself.
Check the fees before you use them.
