Proper fan and mist for sgfc bfr cakes

My question is how often should i fan and mist after dunk and roll. and do I fan right after I mist or do mist and then wait an hour or 2 then fan the sgfc

Keep them glistening with small beads of water...fanning is just a swipe or two with the lid after misting... don't literally fan your cakes...it'll dry them too quickly

:whathesaid: You simply want to jumpstart the evaporation process on the surface of your cakes. If your SGFC is designed properly, your tub will be getting a good amount of FAE to keep it going.

Yes...by clearing out the stale humid air it creates more room for that water to evaporate, promoting pinning and maintaining humidity. :thumbup:

Like said above, mist directly, keep the cakes glistening.If your SGFC is built to spec fanning isn't even necessary.
