Cyanescens identification
    #22436810 - 10/26/15 05:01 PM (8 years, 3 months ago)

I found these growing in a neighbors yard. I think the are cyanescens but am not sure. The cap looks like it, the gils are tannish and the stems are tan on some of the better but are brown and look like they started to decompose. Any help would be nice.

Good question! In all honesty, it's just a feel for what I think they are based on mushrooms I've found, pictures I've seen and ID requests that have been answered on here.

I may be wrong, but if I am then I'm probably pretty close.

You can find a technical description here.

I thought so, but you never know if there is maybe a very similar genus in the same family, or if something has been moved. At least I don't.

Alright thanks for the help. I know pretty much nothing about mushrooms so I was just guessing because they were wavy caps and brown. I guess them growing in grass was sign they weren't cyanescens to.
