Quick question about making jar lids.

So I fucked up and made 2 holes in my lids big enough to run polyfill. 1/4 in or whatever the size is. The holes are the size of a pea.
Anyways I figure since my clear silicone keeps falling through and not making a proper injection port, I could just put polyfill in both of those holes and tap a small hole with a nail for my injection port and silicone that.
I have a pack of new lids incase this is not workable. But Id like to use the ones ive already drilled if possible.
Anyone able to help a brudda out?

You could also just tape over one whole.
Edit: If you dont want more air exchange you could use masking tape.
Whenever I crack those PP5 lids, I just tape them up with micropore tape. Some cracks were very big and left dime size wholes. They havent dried out or anything and do just as well as the ones with normal size filter patches.

masking tape?
I was editing just as you were responding, lol.
What happens to your micropore?
I wonder if its just the brand. Mine doesnt seem to change at all. I think I got it at target, its brown and thicker than the white kind.

Yeah the white gets really stuck. the adhesive kinda melts all over and its a bitch to get off. Whats the specific name of the kind of tape your using? Is it still medical tape?

Nexcare Absolute Waterproof
I dont see why not. If your super concerned I'd just put masking tape on it.
