Heating Query: Safety of a Space Heater / Column heater in a high humidity grow room

Hey guys, title says it all. Curious about how safe it is to run an electric and oil space heater in a 3x3x2 hydroponic grow tent I just setup as my Oyster Mushroom grow room. I'm running it adjacent to my Ultrasonic humidifier and am curious if it's safe to sit in humidity levels around 90-95% or will that fry the unit or cause a potential fire hazard?
Thanks

Running a mains electricity powered device inside a high humidity grow tent sounds like a disaster waiting to happen to me. Unless the unit is specifically designed for such applications, in which case it should be very clear in the manual.
You are better off heating the room around the tent, which will then heat the tent itself. This is safer and will dramatically reduce condensation on the inside of your grow tent.

Besides the moisture-electrical appliance issue, if your oysters drop spores before you harvest, I could easily see the heater getting clogged and creating a fire hazard.

lets be clear- if it's totally wet in there it's probably not going to catch something on fire. BUT it will eventually, in a matter of a few weeks, rust and short out. I have fried everything from the $10 to $75 space heaters.

So what is the best way to heat small space from inside? Electric oil radiator won't get clogged with spores and outside humidity doesn't damage it, right? One could also cover/isolate electric buttons from outside humidity. Another thing that seems useful to me is that the incoming air gets blown directly on heater so that it heats up air faster. Spores and humidity would do less damage to heater also IMO.

Not trying to hijack this thread, but I see everyone has their Vicks humidifiers in their greenhouses. How do these not start to corrode in the high humidity?

You'll be fine using an electric oil radiator heater. But there is inline/duct heater systems you could use to.
I use a radiating oil heater and never have had any problems with humidity causing shorts or safety mishaps.
Space heaters are really not very efficient and are kinda sketchy when it comes to safety.

Most of duct heaters are 80$+. For this money you can buy second hand portable ac with heating
edit: I'm also not sure how efficient is temperature regulation of these heaters

My experience with the oil heaters is that they're safe and reliable, Ive seen them work for a decade, but I haven't personally used them in 90-100 humidity.

Get a space heater hooked up outside the grow room and blow into the room. If you're worried about spores, add a flapper door so when the heater is off the duct is shut. If you're close to your dryer, vent that into the room as well (make sure to have some lint catching set-up) adds heat and humidity!
